Summary: Much better than the baby-sitters club A must read.
Review: This is better than the baby-sitters club because it talks about more than just baby-sitting. I recomemind reading this book ather reading the first four because then you will have a better background on what you are reading. The only reason I stared reading this book was because it had Dawn in it and Dawn is my favorit charter in the baby-sitters club books and I was mad when see moved back to Calforana. Then when I saw that see was in another book I got it right away. This a very good book.

Summary: Cliff Hanger Ending was Great
Review: I loved this book, and can not wait to read the second 1 ! Ann M. Martin did a wonderful job, showing how Amalia felt about what James actions and how she came to like her sister more, I loved the cliff hanger ending. I recommend this book to my friends and I know they will enjoy it! My older sister loved it . She also can not wait to read the second book .

Review: I absolutly give this book a 5! I think that it is a great book for young adults. It tells a very good story about a girls life. It really feels like reading someones diary. I have read about 6 of the books in this series and i give them all 5's too. anne is just such a wonderful writer (except for the babysitters club).

Review: I gave this book a four becuase it was a really good book. It talks about a girl named Amalia who was going out with a guy named James who was abusing her. I liked this book very much becuase teens go though alot these days,and the characters were real not fake. It talks about real things not fake made up stuff. This book is a good book to read to learn on how to deal with abuse. This book is also good becuase alot of teens relationships deal with abuse so alot of teens can relate so, over all this is one of the best books I have read.

Review: this was a REALLY good book! but james was a jerk for treating her the way he did. she should have just dumped him in the first place so then she wouldn't have had to go through all that. but then again he was sweet at times though. amalia is cool and I liked the way she acted like she was talking to a person when she wrote in her journal. I also liked the way she called it nbook! I also liked the way she drew pictures in her journal, it made it more interesting to look at. this is a peachy book. keep up the good work martin!

Review: I love california diaries! They are so cool! I loved reading these excelent books that tell the lives of some people my age. It tells me right from wrong...they do stuff wrong...and they learn from it..liek the party, and Sunny going to the beach..ect....Well, i just love these books and hope Ann M. Martin makes them liek she did all those Baby sitter club books..i hope she makes 100 and thousands of books!
