Rating: Summary: Goodbye Lara Review: Believe it or not I will miss Lara. Yes, I know she was really bad but she also had a good side and just when she was getting her life back together she had to die. It was just really sad. I highly recommend this book to any teens out there! This series is just really great!
Rating: Summary: Very Good Review: I am very pleased that these books are now following each character as they go off to college. This book was very intresting and accuratly portrayed the homesickness that all new college students suffer. However, the end was kind of random. It was very sad, but it seemed like it didn't have to be. I also don't like the way Nina has been treated. I hate Zoey, her character is a hypocrit. She has cheated on Lucas before! She has a pattern of cheating on her boyfriends. I was really starting to enjoy seeing Nina and Lucas together. Their relationship was much better. Lucas wasn't always afraid of upsetting her or worrying that he wasn't worthy of her like he is with Zoey.
Rating: Summary: this one disapointed me Review: i can't stand zoey . with everybook she gets more annoying.and this book is no excuse(and i used to like her). and why is nina always treaded like a second banana. i was sooo looking forward to nina and lucas' blooming relationship but now it doesn't look so good.i have been reading this series for over five years and if nina doest get treated better (or get more action with a guy who will treat her right) i might have to stop reading. just when things look goood for her they stop.(she's been my favorite character since the beginning in case you were wondering). otherwise i love the series.
Rating: Summary: Making out #25 Review: I have read all of the making out series and though I did enjoy this book too, it was not my favorite. Lara was never one of my favorite characters and this book focuses mostly on her so I guess thats why it didn't appeal to me as much. I did enjoy seeing how the rest of the gang are doing off to college and apart from the group they are so familar with. I also liked the way they each still interact with each other and expecially how Claire is adusting to dorm life. This book has a suprise ending which is not common in most of the other making out series and I can't wait to get the next one.
Rating: Summary: Don't Forget Lara Review: I thought this book was really good. I think the series is starting to get even better. The end was so unexpected, and I love unexpected endings. It also seems like Benjamin likes Nina again, and that makes me really happy. I love reading about the characters in college, but at the same time, I miss them all being together. That's why I love the whole Claire-Jake thing. Anyway, this is a great book, I definitely recommend it! It's a total page-turner.
Rating: Summary: Growing pains Review: It is very strange to read this book with everybody in different schools. I can see that for Claire, Zoey, and Aisha that it very strange being somewhere you are not known; more over, somewhere they don't know everybody. I really like how this book is capturing there emotions and adjuments to there new surroundings.

Rating: Summary: Don't Forget Lara Review: Lara is hardly forgettable in my opinion. This book was prettygood. I think Ms. Applegate is getting back to basics and focusing onwhat we like about her characters. None of them are being portrayed as one-dimensional. I was pleased that we find out what's going on with everyone while they're away at school, especially Claire and Benjamin. Overall, I thought the book was pretty good. Good story, good focus.
Rating: Summary: No one will Forget About Lara Review: This book added wonderfully to the rest of the series. With most of the gang off at college, they are about to explore a new type of living- no parents and tons of responsibility. With Zoey at Berkley, Claire at MIT, Aisha and Aaron at Harvard, Lucas, Nina and Lara are left all alone on the island. This book was basically about this bad dream Lara kept having that came true at the end causing a tramuatic ending. This book had the saddist ending of all the books in the series. If you read it you'll understand why you have to agree with me.
Rating: Summary: Its a great series Review: This was a good book.I thought it was one of the best. It has a suprise ending and I had to read it the end over and over again because it suprised me.It is very sad that they are all not on the island anymore. I think some how they will all be drawn back to the island. There are very good parts in the book. An example of these is when Claire lets Jake stay in her room. I started reading these books last summer of '99. At the beginning of each month I buy the next book of the series and read it in a night. I wish it was printed faster.
