Summary: Real Insight
Review: Marc Adam's book "The Preacher's Son" is an emotional journey through his early life as a fundamentalist baptist and homosexual. I couldn't put this book down for one second. I read the whole thing in one sitting. I recommend this to anyone struggling with religion and homosexuality.

Summary: 224 Pages Jerry Falwell Doesn't Want You To Read
Review: The Preacher's Son is my autobiography about growing up gay the son of a fundamentalist Baptist preacher in rural Pennsylvania. It chronicles my employment by and attendance at Jerry Falwell's University and eventually my coming to terms with who I was all along. I originally started writing The Preacher's Son as guidebook to help those trying to "cure" themselves of homosexuality. I believed at that time that I was changed. Now the book is finished and bear the TRUTH about begin gay and about fundamentalist Christianity. I am committed to spending the rest of my life sharing my story and making sure that gay and lesbian youth don't feel that they are worthless or alone.

Summary: Marc the Liberator, Marc the Healer
Review: The Preacher's Son is the best book I have read on the subject of being a gay Christian. It certainly should be must reading for any gay person attending a conservative religious institution. It is an emotional book, a sad book, and a highly erotic book. Come to think of it, it should be must reading for any gay person seeking to break the chains to find liberation and wholeness.

Summary: Moving
Review: This book is an excelant book. Told straight from the horse's mouth about the truth behind the driving forces of the fundalmentalist movement to "cure" america of homosexuality. It's a story of rejection to self pity to enlightenment to salvation. Marc's walk with the Lord throughout his life shows the struggles that each of us goes through, gay or not. Struggling with the literal text, pain from the condemnation to joy and deliverance through finding the truth inside of one's heart. A true testimony that God never turns His back on anyone. I recomend this book for anyone who is searching for the deeping meaning inside of themselfs.

Summary: J_Buchter, April 9, 1999, Awsome Book
Review: This is my first gay biograghy that I have ever read. This book reminded me so much of painful experiences with religion and being gay as a young person. I am twenty-seven now and have accepted the fact that I am gay and don't feel ashame about it anymore. I fought so hard to deny who I really was and had no one to turn too. Marc this book has changed my life in more ways than one. I can't begin to explain it. Because of this book I have deciede to live my life more openly and I don't care what people any think anymore. At some point in are life I believe that we as gay people need to take a stand for who we are and for what we believe. The Preacher's Son is an awsome book and I recommend it to any young or older person struggling with their sexuality.
