Summary: of mice and men review
Review: My name is Steven A, and I read the book Of Mice and Men. I thought in my openion he did a pretty good job,he made me really understand what it was really like.
Steinbeck developed the charecters pretty good it seemed like he reasearched the people in that time. They were pretty beileavable, because it really got in touch how it really was.
This is a very good book for young adults because it teaches them a good leason to understand that nothing comes easy. Their will always be something there to make the path rough. Their were somesocial issues like suicied, and the disise that lennie has.

Review: i thought that John Steinbeck did a good job relcreating migrate workers from the 1930's. his characters were very believable. they way he discribed them was very realistic. i do think that this novel is a good book for young adults to read. this book is kind of related to racism. because it says that they have this black man that worlks asa servant. and that they dont treat him very good. i think that this book teaches people that even though you have a good plan worked out and you think that everything is going to work out fine, anything can go wrong.

Review: I thought steinbeck does a very nice job putting the image of a 1930s migrant workers life in your mind he also illaberated his characters very well in fact I could picture them as real people because they talked like a real person not a collage educated person, I also liked that he touched on the issue of racism so yes I would recomed you (whoever might read this) to read this book

Summary: Connor's review
Review: I really liked this well thats kind of obvious since I gave it 5 stars. It really showed how it was like being a migrant worker in Cali. It showed that it wasn't just a walk in the park. It also described the people well and how they had to go through many hardships. For example how George had to constantly look after Lennie while he was trying to get a job. On top of all that it also tackles many of the important issues that we have around us today such as racism and youthanasia. All in all this was a very good book and its exciting from start to finish.

Summary: awesome book
Review: Steinbeck does a really good job recreating the 1930's migrant worker conditions. He has all the hardshiops of the workers life down, and the racism isn't going overboard. It seems as if the whole book is really true. Steinbeck's characters are completely believable. Its so easy to like his characters because they seem like real-life people. Young adults should read this book because its an easy to read, short classic novel that has a good story plot. It teaches that no matter how much you plan something or how well something is, it can always easily be messed up. It also hits on social issues such as racism, gambling, murder, and animal rights.

Summary: Of Mice and Man
Review: I thought Steinbeck created the 1930 migrant workers in california very good. Some of the conditions he put them in were very realistic. Steinbeck really expressed peoples thought process back then.

Steinbeck created some very good characters. They all had their own personailities and parts in the story. the people he made up were very beliavable because they all related to the time and place they were at. -caleb

Of Mice and Men is a good novel to read for young adults. This a good novel to read for young adults. This is a good novel because it really makes you think of all the things happening behind the storyline. This book teaches you some lessons about having a dream and almost being there but things just don't work out sometimes. This book talks about some social issues including assisted suiced and racism.

Anyways, this book wasn't bad, but I wouldn't have anyone under the age of 14 read it becuase the things going on in it would be to advanced for them to understand. It's also a good book for teachers to assign because it's educational about the events happening at this time.

Summary: Of Mice and Men, hailey's review
Review: This book tells the story of George Milton and Lennie Small, the very best of friends. Running away from past troubles, George and Lennie seek work on a ranch to raise money for a house and farm of their own. Their adventures on the farm cost several lives and cause many different things to happen.
Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men is a satisfactory book. I gave it 4 stars because, although it is an interesting book, somethings just weren't clear and interesting.
Steinbeck did a fairly good job in describing the conditions on which 1930's migrant workers lived on. Very good descriptions of the looks that run through the settings and very powerful (almost lifelike)emotions of that time.
Besides George and Lennie, there were many other characters in the story, each with their own personality. I must say, Steinbeck did a very good job with the characters and they were very believable. I could sense that each character had a unique personality that really stuck out.
I would recommend this book for young adults because of all the issues and lessons that are embedded in the story. Social issues like racism and euthanasia are some of the many issues in this book. Furthermore, this book teaches people about how unique the human nature really is.

Summary: 8th grader's opinion of the book OF MICE AND MEN by JESSIE
Review: This was an awesome book. Stienbeck recreated the 1930's migrant farm workers very good. It was almost like i lived back then. The way he descriibes them; the way they walk, the way they talk, is amazing. He really lets you know how hard living back then was. Stienbeck gives great descriptions of all the things they had to deal with back then.
I think this is a very good book for young adults, but not too young. I think if i was any younger i would have not been able to comprehend this book. It addresses almost every social issue and almost every form of descrimination. The book brings the reader in touch with how life was back in the 1930's.
It was great how Stienbeck laced the whole story together. the begining tied in with the end and everywhere inbetween. There was no word just thrown in, every word had a meaning.

Review: Steinbeck reacreated the 1930's migrant worker and the area around them very well. He gives detail to what the men wear and how the cloths are formed. He give you a kind of feel to what it felt like back then. Like when Lennie and George first enter the ranch he tell you what it smells like and when theres a hot day he tells you how humid it is and.

Steinbeck makes the characters very well. He creates the classic duo of the short smart guy and the big dumb one. He gives the characters meaning, every character has at least one thing that makes them unique
