Review: This is not Stephen King at his best. But, it is still a good book. Flagg makes a good villain, and the story is so intricate and detailed that it is absorbing. Rad it.

Summary: The Eyes of the Dragon
Review: What happens when the #1 horror bestseller decide to write a fairy tale? King writes a perfect story. It has all the elements a story of this kind should have. Old kingdom, dying weak king, loyal son, betrayal and of course high tower. Naturally King dose not neglect the plot. The story is well written and leave you with the taste of charming medieval era for a few days. Enjoy.

Summary: Fantasy and Reality Intertwined
Review: This was and is a wonderful book. From the first time to the 7th and 8th times I have read it. Stephen King created a masterpiece of the magical days of yore. The characters are rich and believable. The young boys on their quest for manhood, the kind but weak king, the dear and tender queen, the evil sorcerer bent on taking the kingdom. There are dragons and hunts and wolves and magic and secrets and mystery and intrigue. All in all, it's a wonderful story, and I for one will read it again very soon.

Summary: A bed-time fairy tale for adults
Review: If I remember correctly, King wrote this one for one of his children. It's a departure for King, but a thoroughly enjoyable one - a story of Kings and scorcerers, chivalry, and of course, good and evil. If you're looking for some light, entertaining reading...a modern day escape into fantasy...you'll enjoy King's efforts.

Summary: Crap
Review: Stupidty.(...) A story doesn't need to have blood, sex, and foul language to convey a sense of depth. King knows that. And if this was an ATTEMPT, it was half hearted one with the sole purpose being that it has his name on it and would bring home the dough. And further more, I loathed the 'perfect' prodigal, and ultimately inhuman, son that Peter was. I rooted for Flagg, and it would have been an all too fair of a world if he had won in the end. [ Yes, I am quite aware he is one of King's recurring villains]

Review: I have always loved Steven King's books. In this book the charaters are well thought out, the story keeps you wanting more. This book has mystery, adventure, magic and plently more to love. When I was reading this book I didn't want to put it down. This book is a must read for any Steven King fan. I give it 5 stars!

Review: This was really my first Steven King book, and I was very impressed. Mr.King takes a fairytale like story and turns it into an adult novel with very developed charactors and a plot that keeps you reading all night!

Review: The book started out ever so slow. After explaining the characters in about 100 pages it gave a slight story plot. -The king is dead, wrongfuly imprisoned prince, evil magician, brother of the accused becomes king and stinks at it. From there it explains his time imprisoned until exactly 78 pages remain in the paperback book. From there is where all of the other pages lead to. There are two reasons why this was a best seller when it first came out. 1.Stephen king wrote it. 2.First publishing had beautiful pictures in it.

Summary: King...for All Ages
Review: When I first recieved this book in the mail, over five years ago, I put it aside and bothered not to read it. Dragons, wizards, kings...medievil time's to me are boring and dull and it held no interest to me. But as the years have passed and I have expanded my reading, I thought again of picking up the book and giving it a whirl. I now wish I had read it when I first recieved it. But I must say, if you are looking for the "typical" King style of writing...i.e. blood, guts, monsters, foul language, etc. you aren't going to get it here. This is a book for people of all ages, with little gore, practically nonexistant. And a tale that leaves the reader not with the question of what is going to happen...but how. How is everything going to be played out in the end? It took me a little less than a week to start and finish this book, doing my reading on my lunch hour. The chapters are short, leaving me saying quite often...I will read a few more pages. Did I like this book? Yes, I did. The ending was abrupt, leaving room for a sequel if King so desired. Will you like this book? That I leave for you to decide.
