Rating: Summary: A Really Good Book Review: I think that Con-Fidence is a really good book. It is about a girl that is not very popular and is in the seventh grade. She has one really good friend. This girl that is not very popular likes this one really cute boy that is popular. Every day at school she sits at the same table every day. There is one special table called the don't-you-wish-you-were-me table short for d-y-w-y-w-m table. All of the really popular girls sit in the middle of the table and all the wanna be's sit at the end so if one of the really popular girls sneeze then all of the wanna be's would fall right off. Later on in the year this new girl comes. She gets to sit right at the d-y-w-y-w-m table. The new girl isn't like all the popular girls. She talks to everyone not just the popular people. The new girl started hanging out with her. The new girl encourages her to run for class co-treasurer. Both of the girls end up running. They ended up winning and put all the class money in the bank, they are only allowed to take out the money when it is for school occasions. The two girls ended up having a ice skating party. When they go get the money somebody stole the money and the bankers said that they already deposited it! I love this book and never wanted to put it down.
Rating: Summary: Con-Fidence is a fine book Review: It makes you feel that you are actully Laura,Tara, and Celeste Van-Warner.I read this book and couldnt stop reading it.Laura is a middle school student who is not pouplar and never wears makeup, she wants everyone to think nice things about her,not what she cares about herself.Until she make a friend named Celeste. This Celeste had Laura blind, laura even lost her friend! The only reason why celeste wanted to be her friend was because she wanted to take "Queen Kristas'place and she did.In the end laura learns a truley important lesson. It feels good to have a couple of good friends, they love you and you love them, and that is what is truley important-Con-fidencene i recomend this book because its all true your friends do blind you,but do they always?read this book and youll love it,for ever and ever
Rating: Summary: Did anyone really read this? Review: This book is a joke. The story is contrived, and in addition there are these silly explanations of why characters do things that seem so unnatural as if that would make it more believable. In addition the absolutely worst dialogue ever written! Open to any page and you will see what I mean. Not one character was believable on any level.
Rating: Summary: Very true story Review: This book is really, really good because a lot of girls wish that they were popular. The main character is even willing to ignore her real friend in the hopes of getting popular, even though the popular girl is just using her. It shows that sometimes there is too big a price to pay to be popular.
Rating: Summary: Review of "CON-fidence" by Heather O. - The best book ever! Review: This book is the best book I have ever read. When you start you will never what to stop. It is about a girl and she mets someone. They become frineds but when someone steels the money. They wont let them go to the party. She has to make big choice and it will change for ever. Will they become frineds agin will they? Will they never speak agin to each other? Will she meet new frineds? You will all fine out my the book CON-fidence. This is the best book ever becaues of the aother and amasement.
Rating: Summary: CON-fidence All The Way !!! Review: We're reading this book in school and it's one of the best books I've ever read! Lauren and Tara face the problems that a normal girl my age faces everyday. The DWDWDM (Don't You Wish You Were Me)girls are like other people we know and you get the picture! Todd Strasser visited my school last week and he is now my favorite writer!
