Summary: Alexander and the ghost of a soldier must find the truth...
Review: Alexander can see ghosts ever since he was a kid, and the only other person who knows is his mother. But when his parents divorce and his mother moves away, his father wants to marry Mrs. Hambrick as his new wife, and Alexander becomes angry and hurt by the changes in his family's life. He wants his mother to return. But his father knows that it's time to move on, and Alex isn't ready to make the decision. But the trouble deepens when the ghost of a Confederate Soldier, Rich Chamblee, asks for Alex's help. Alex is thrust into an unbelievable and deep adventure to help find the long-lost sister of Rich. With the help of Jesse Temple and a librarian named Ms. Edwards, the search deepens and the mysteries of the Confederate War begin to unfold before Alex's eyes. Alex becomes involved in not only a dangerous adventure, but in a desperate search to find the truth of Rich's past -- and in the fates of those who disappeared or were killed in war. Alex knows that he has to help his ghost soldier friend find out the truth about his past. But can he prepare himself for the dangerous plan and the dangerous adventure in store for him -- an adventure of his wildest and most unbelievable dreams -- to ultimately face the truth of a teenage ghost's history? Ghost Soldier, an amazing new novel that is an intriguing and powerful mix of both historical fiction and fantasy, is among the best books I have ever read. It is so enjoyable, and if the author would continue the adventures of Alexander's life even after this amazing story, it would be greatly accepted and appreciated.

Summary: A Good Book
Review: Ghost Soldier is a perrty good book. If you like ghost stories. The book deals with the Civil War. Ghost Soldier is not the best story to read. I think the book could of been longer. That is the only thing I don`t like about the book. The story takes place in North Carolina. the main person in the story is Alexander. I like the story just because, it deals with ghost. It all depends on what you like to read. You may like reading Ghost Soldieror you may notlike it.

Summary: Ghost soldier
Review: Ghost Soldier

There is a boy named Alexander whose Mom left him many years ago, he still waits for her day by day year by year to come back. He expects her to just come walking down the street one day but that hasn't happened yet. So Alexander is forced to live with his Dad in North Carolina, that is the last place he wants to be. The one-day Alexander finds himself in the center of the Civil War battlefield. There is where he meets Richeson, the ghost of a Civil War soldier. Richeson has problems of his own. Alexander doesn't care at all. Alexander can barely take care of himself let alone ghost from the past. Alexander is put into a mystery 100 years old. I didn't really enjoy this book because I don't really like ghost stories and it was kind of hard to follow. Him and his dad are trying to get along with each other through about the whole story. It gets hard to follow. I wouldn't really recommend this book to everyone.

Summary: A very entertaining book.......
Review: I bought this book for my son, but found myself completely involved in this very entertaining story of two young boys - one real and one a ghost. Alex, an unhappy loner whose mother abandoned him and his father, finds himself caught up in a mystery from the civil war. In trying to help his ghostly friend discover what happened to his family after the civil war, Alex makes a few discoveries about his own life and that of his father. An excellent blend of historical fact, lively fiction, and the belief in fate, this story was well written and captivating from start to finish. A great read!

Summary: A Boy A Soldier A dream
Review: I liked this book Ghost Soldier, because I really enjoy books that take place present day but have something that have to do with ghost from war or wars, In this book it was just that. I enjoyed this book because it kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not out this book down because I kept wondering if his mom was going to come back. Another thing I liked about this book is the characters, they were described and very much like they would be if the book were real.

I think the worst part of this book is when Alexander and his dad go to live with Mrs. Hambrick. It is there that Alexander wishes that his mom would return. His dad crushes his hopes by telling himn that his mom and dad got divorced.

I think that the setting is good because it takes place in the city and somehow Alexander keeps seeing and hearing ghost in his dreams. When he is not close to a battlefield or any historiccal places, the setting is unbelievable! The characters were described really well just as if they were standing right here and talking. Or as if I was there and witnessig this happen.

Summary: Ghost Soldier
Review: I read the book Ghost Soldier. It was a good book at some points. At other points it was confusing did I did not know what they were talking about. The book is about a boy who's mother ran out on him and his father when was ten. Know his father has fallen in love with this lady from North Carolina. The boy's name is Alexander. He still thinks that his mother is coming back and they should not move down to North Carolina. I don't want to tell you the whole story but the last thing I can tell you is that Alexander mets a ghost and gets caught up with what is holding the ghost back from resting in peace.

Summary: Must read
Review: I was a little reluctant to start reading this book because I couldn't imagine that it would be as good as Counterfeit Son, but it was great. I was completely absorbed with Alex and his ghost. I truly could not put it down. This book is a must read.
