Summary: A Continous Doubt
Review: Definetly one of the best books I've ever read. John Marsden tells this tale so well! You can't help but sympathize with the uncomfortable Mandy, who is at a loss for words whenever writing to Tracey. Or try to figure out and level with the mysterious and angry Tracey, who somehow lands herself in a prison insitute. Although I seemingly figured out what happens in the ending, I'm in a continous doubt about if its really true. Don't get me wrong, the book would be weak without its abrupt ending, but sometimes I wonder.

A powerful ending that hits you smack in the face and wishing for more. Remember: Somethings are better left untold . . .

Summary: Lakin's view from the inside
Review: I thought that this book was a very outstanding and terrific. My actual view of the book is that it was a book that could help young teens and the adults in their situations about friendship. This book is about two girls that are writing to each other through letters. The girls find true friendship inside these letters. They discover that they have been through very hard times. They finally understand each others problems and their pains. They both understand that they have each other to depend on. Mandy speaks to Tracey about the things that she needs to do to become better and so that she could get out of Garrett and she will learn to be more better at what she does and what she will on become. I like this book because iti helps teens understand the true meaning of friendship. It helped me really understand the real and actual facts about a actual friendship. If people were to get this book then they would understand what I am talking about. Some teens can not, till this day, do not know what friendship reaaly means. I just hope that the people I recommended this book to will actually get the feeling that others get when they read this book letters from the Inside.

Summary: Wow!
Review: This is an outstanding book for mature readers. At the beginning it seems a bit boring but as you find out that Tracey is in a girl's jail, it gets much more interesting. The ending totally blew me away. I won't ruin it for anyone but just make sure to pay attention to what is said in Mandy's last letters and Tracey's dream and her last few letters. It'll all come together. This book is written by an Australian so some phrases are not what is used in America but they are understandable. In all, a great book.

Summary: Ok but with a horrible ending
Review: The book started out OK. You got to know a little more about each charater with each of their letters. I hated, though, that you NEVER found out some things like exactly why Tracey was in jail. The ending was very abrupt and left you with little idea of what had happened. To enjoy this book you are going to have to have an active imagination to fill in what is missing.

Summary: A good book, but not-so-good ending
Review: Letters From The Inside. Let's see, it had an intriguing premise and was written very well. The book, although in letter form, gives you a good sense of who the characters are and where they are coming from. However, the ending leaves much to be desired, with multiple letters stating the exact thing over and over again and leaving the reader wanting more information on the characters.

Summary: A fair book, but the ending was annoying....
Review: I thought that this book was fairly written, but the ending left me wonder why I read the book. I mean, why do you read a book that doesn't even tell what happens to Mandy, or why Tracey was in jail? But I can't deny that it was well written with interesting Australian slang. I would recommend this book to Junior high or high school kids.

Summary: I thought it was good, but.....
Review: I thought this book was a great book up until the end. It was an easy read that I could have read in a day but because it was for school, I had to read over three weeks. The ending made me mad because I really didn't know what happened and I REALLY wanted to know. If I read it at my own pace I don't think that I would have been so mad at the ending because of all the things I saw by reading over weeks instead of quickly in one or two days.

Summary: Great book that leaves you hanging
Review: I loved this book, but at he same time I hated it. Every part of every letter kept you wondering, what's next?????? Great plot events and climax. Disappointing resolution. I reccomend this book for older teens or young adults.I am 13, and I could barley handle the graphic language. If I had known about the ending, I still would have read the book.

Summary: Great book!
Review: This book is definitely one of the best books I've ever read. I loved the ending, the questions that Mr Marsden left you with make this book unforgettable. It makes you think rather than giving you every single detail of the girls' lives. In spite of the details that weren't actually said, you know what the girls are like and you can get an idea of what happened to both of them. It is written intelligently, rather than condescendingly as if teenagers were so stupid they needed everything spelled out in black and white for them. If you've read the Tomorrow series or Checkers or So Much To Tell You, then definitely read this book because it's even better than his other ones! Do not miss out on this book!

Summary: READ IT NOW!
Review: This has to be my favorite book of all time. I had read the first two books in the tomorrow series when I saw this on the shelf at the library. I didn't have any homework and it was a really nasty day so Idecided to get it. I went home, sat down, and opened it up. Ididn't move from that spot for 2 hours. I kept telling myself that I would only read a few more pages and then stop but I just had to find out what happened. As I read on, it became even more suspensfull right up until the very end which just blew me away. I love this book so much. It has great character development and one of the best twist endings I have ever read. If you haven't read it, Isuggest that you get your hands on it a.s.a.p.
