Rating: Summary: It is the best book I have ever read! Review: Dana had fallen for Chris. Chris is Dana's brother's best friend. They tried to keep it a secret but it didn't work!! Read it and see what happened.
Rating: Summary: a sweet love story Review: Dana Lipton never intended to fall for Chris Geller. She knew that as her brother's best friend he was strictly off limits. But Dana didn't count on finding out that Chris felt the same way about her. Now they have to hide their feelings for each other to stop Brian from finding out, but will their love be strong enough to survive the consequences? This was a really sweet story of a love that had to be kept secret. It kept my attention and I read it straight through in an hour. Dana is a likeable narrator and comes across as open and caring. I would recommend this to all romance fans and any girl aged ten or above.
Rating: Summary: A big disappointment... Review: I am usually a big fan of the "Love Stories" books. I don't go into them looking to be really educated or enlightened, only entertained. However, I found that this book failed to do even that. Originally, the plot line seemed appealing to me- A girl (Dana) falls in love with her brother's best friend (Chris) whom she has been forbidden to date. But the book failed to deliver on a storyline that had lots of potential. Here are a few reasons why I think this happened. 1. POOR WRITING!!! I noticed that the writing seemed really childish and poor even on the first page, and kept hoping that it would improve. It never did. 2) There was no suspenseful 'Will they or won't they?' aspect to the story. In the first chapter it is painfully obvious who will end up with who, and how their story will end. A good love story will always keep you guessing. Even though you intellectually know what the outcome will be, you should still be as emotionally unsure as the characters are. Which leads me to my finally gripe- 3. Poor characters. These people are very one-dimensional. Chris is a Jock. Chris is good-looking. Dana likes sports. Dana had cancer. They both don't want to hurt her brother. We never really learn what makes these characters tick, and therefore never really become invested in what happens to them. All in all, I would NOT recommend this book. There are many better books in the "Love Stories" series that are way more deserving of your time. Try #5- 'The Day I Met Him', or #11-'Some Girls Do' to find a much more satisfying romance.

Rating: Summary: Our Secret Love was a great story about being friends first. Review: Our Secret Love shows how Dana falls for her brothers best friend chris. When her brother says she can't be with him she is totally crushed worse CHris totally ignores her. He has lost his best friend and now is treating Dana like she didn't mean anything to him. Just when you think Dana and Chris will never get together. Dana's brother plans a trap and they come together at the end with the help from the person who tore them apart in the first place.
Rating: Summary: really nice Review: The plot seems kind of unsubstantial but it's actually a great read. The main character Dana is extremely likeable - not because she's cute or anything.I love the way she's portrayed - direct, sincere and strong. The rest of the characters are great too- nice , cool people. Some parts are really touching.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: This book was great! I thought the author did a terrific job. I liked this book because it showed a secret love, or something Dana and Chris did'nt know they had. And also because it was a forbidden love, but in the end there were two happy couples and Chris and Brian become better friends than they were before.
Rating: Summary: Secrets and lies. Review: This is a very good book about friendships being pushed to the limits, and falling in love. True love. When Dana falls for Chris, her older brother Brian's best friend, her life turns upside down. Chris, a well-known flirt who has dated most of the girls at school, professes his attraction to Dana in a way that scares and excites her. Even lying to her brother and to her family seems worth the sacrifice of seeing him. Dana has never felt this way before...but is she just another girl in Chris' little black book?
