Rating: Summary: The best book for this author Review: This is an unbelieveable book. Just reading it gives you so much information about CF, and it helped me so much to cope with my great friend who has now pasted. It gave me that closeness because I knew what was going on and how he felt. Her books are so much more touching when you have someone with the illness. This is a must read, and i've read it at least 15 times, and I can't help but cry my eyes out each time. So sad, and so sweet.

Rating: Summary: love till the end Review: Book review Till Death Do Us Part By Lurlene Mc Daniel Written By Wendy Cuenca What would you do if your boyfriend died the same day you marry him? Do you even think this kind of things happen? Well yea they do happen. Unfurtunely is very sad but things like this happen in the world. I think you should read this book because it shows you how people live their life no matter what problems they have to overcome. You would terribly fall in love whit this book. This book is about a young women who was in the hospital because she suffered a seizure. One day in the hospital while April was there her parents were there for lunch. " At the end of the meal, they each opened a fortune cookie. Laughing, they read the strips of paper aloud. April pulled out the fortune tucked inside her cookie and a small shiver crept through her as she read the words on the paper. It read : A change is coming. Be prepared."... I talked to my friends about this book, their reaction against this book was very surprising. I thought that they wouldn't even care. I asked my friend ... and she said, " I think when a person loves somebody it doesn't matter what they are going to go through, I think they should fight anything to get to their goal. At least that is what I would do." Karla stated. To my conclusion this book was a really good book. I really enjoyed this book. It would touch many peoples heart and even make you cry. It would teach you how to live a normal life no matter what illness is hunting you. As soon as you read the first page you would not let the book go away, you probably end up sitting there until you finish the book. I highly recommend this book to couples or people who like loves story.

Rating: Summary: Till Death Do Us Part Review: This book was very enjoyable in and of itself. Lurlene McDaniel really lets her unaware readers know what is in the real world. She writes in a fashion that can relate well to young adults. With April being a normal seventeen year old and having a handsom boyfriend, it is unexpected that she would have a brain tumor, after all...her life is perfect. On that note, McDaniel states the obvious, "it can happen to anyone". This book is very realistic in every aspect. It also teaches a good lesson ...that you should not judge people based on thier apperance or based on an illness in this case. They are still the same people with the same personality as Chris( her boyfriend) avoided to see.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding book Review: This book was outstanding! I immediately fell in love with all of the characters and found myself laughing one minute and crying the next. This is an amazing book and I recommend it for everyone.

Rating: Summary: General Review: I was introduced to Lurlene McDaniel when I was 10 years old. Her series about Dawn Rochelle inspired me to want to become a perdiatric oncologist. Because I am still young, reading was never incrdibly fun for me. Although I am a am smart, i never got caught up in stories. When I read "six months to live," I just wanted to read all of them. In the past 4 days I have purchased three of her novels. "Mother, Help Me Live," "Save Jessie," and "Let Him Live." I have also purchased the entire Dawn Rochelle series and Angel of Mercy. I have read all of them in under 2 days. Thanks to her, I am now finding books that interest me with ease. She is by far my favorite author. I appreciate that her novels give so much inspiration to everyone, and I am greatful.
Rating: Summary: Another great book Review: I am a major lurlene fan. I was introduced to her when i went on Vacation with my friend Sarah> She had gone to the library b4 we left to get some books. One in which she particularly enjoyed, she asked me to read it. Hence my first ever "Lurlene" as i call them- Angels watching over me. Since then i have read Lifted up my angels, until angels close my eyes, too young to die, ill be seeing you, dont die my love, the girl death left behind, 6 months to live, i want to love, so much to live for, no time to cry, to live again, 4 better 4 worse 4 ever and of course till death do us part. The most recent book ive read it Til... I was at a setbak because i had read the sequel before it. But of course i still loved it. Anyway, April goes to the hospital because of severe headaches shes been having. There she meets Mark a hansome man with CF- a desease of the lungs, His first talk with her was something to the effect of "hi, i thot i should introduce myself since your the girl im going to marry" it takes some time but soon April returns his affection. Against the wishes of Aprils parents they become engaged. During a racing accident mark gets injured and this triggers many complicxations to his lungs. April must face this along with the knowledge that her headaches are affacted by a brain tumor which had been dormant since she was 5 yrs old. this is really a great read , mostly becaus eyou feel like you know the characters, or wish you knew them. to other lurlene fans, i love to discuss books, so email me a t goski721@home.com
