Review: I loved the book!!! Its great. My favorite part of it was where Angel and Michael has to go to the swimming pool, and what happens while they are there and after it happens.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: AWESOME
Review: I loved this book. It is so easy to get into. You never know what's going to happen next, and if Angel and Mike are going to get out of it. I loved how intricate it was, and how well writen it is. She left nothing out, it's so real and so POSSIBLE! Read this book. I don't care if you usually don't like "this kind of book", you'll love this one!

Summary: big reader
Review: I read a lot of books but never really any sci-fi. I got this book beacuse the cover was intersting and it turned out to be one of the best books i've ever read! It real grabs you and takes you in. I read the whole thing in about 3.5 hours!!!! I can't wait to read the sequal, it has to be even better!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fast and exciting to read
Review: I really liked the climax of this story (don't worry, I won't give it away). I thought it was very well written with compelling characters (Angel is a very strong girl and I like to see that, especially when a love story is entertained), and I haven't stopped thinking about what Michael and Angel are, wondering when and if people like them will appear during my lifetime! A great, quick read!

Summary: Violet Eyes By Nicole Luiken
Review: I think it was a wonderful book. Filled with thrilling twists. Although, a little confusing at times if you don't pay attention, I still concider it a classic and beleive it should be on the book shelves of every American home.

Review: I thought that Nicole has written one of the best books yet. I think that Violet eyes compares to Lord of the rings and Harry Potter.

Summary: Two words: Absolutely stunning
Review: In "Violet Eyes", Nicole Luiken takes several genres (sci-fi, romance, thriller, horror and drama) and blends them together skilfully in one of the most captivating stories for teenagers in recent years.

You'll be hooked from the first line - "I hated Michael Vallant for nine years before I finally met him". 17-year-old Angel Eastland has been living in the shadow of Michael Vallant for years. Moving around from town to town, whenever she comes up with some crazy, original idea she's told that "Michael Vallant suggested it last year". His name is on all the trophies. She's never met him, but she hates him.

Then he arrives in town. His violet eyes are like hers; he's the only person she knows who can match her strength and agility. She's drawn towards him, yet he grates on her nerves.

When teamed up for an upcoming badmintion tournament, they grow closer together but they're starting to get suspicious. What are the chances of two Olympics-class badminton players living in the same small town? What's the story with the occasional strange comments from their friends? Wendy, Angel's best friend, congratulates her for never "slipping up".

Angel and Michael begin to realise that things are not as they seem. Someone is out to get them, and suddenly their normal, teenage lives become dangerous.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not bad for teen-agers, I guess.
Review: The book treats us to a simplistic future world, characters with no complications, ultra-smart super-kids without the "smart" and the "super", and the WORST set of clues left by a bad guy EVER.

Summary: Violet Eyes-The Renaissance Mystery
Review: The novel, Violet Eyes, by Nicole Luiken, is a very thought provoking story. The main character is Angel Eastland and is seventeen years old. All of her life she has noticed that she is different than the other teenagers. She is acedemically inclined, very athletic, and has striking violet eyes. She has always been the best at everything, but when she meets a boy named Michael, she is no longer the best. They have all of the same abilities and the same violet eyes.
Michael and Angel notice that nothing around them is what it seems to be. They both move very often and find it a bit awkward. Their families are exactly the same. They both have perfect adoptive parents, and an aunt and uncle.
When they trace back their histories, they find that they were both in the same orphanage. After all of the children escaped, the orphanage owners take some drastic measures to keep an eye on these children.
After putting pieces of the puzzle together Angel and Michael realize that the are not really in the year 1987, but the year 2087. They are both very confused and have to find out the truth. You are taken on an amazing journey as these teenagers discover their real world.
I would recommend this book. It is a very suspensful thriller and a real page-turner. Every chapter Nicole Luiken writes makes you want to read on to find out what happens. This is an overall great book.
