Rating: Summary: Fearless #9: Blood Review: I have only read a few of the Fearless series but I think Francine Pascal has created a good series. This one proves it. A bit of the background: Gaia Moore was born without the fear gene and her father Tom Moore trained her to become a ... fighter because of this. Her best friend Ed Fargo is in a wheelchair and is totally in love with Gaia and her other best friend Mary Moss has just been killed. And this is where Blood picks up from. Fun, energetic Mary was shot by a killer hired by her drug dealer Skizz as a way to get back at Gaia for nearly beating him to death a few weeks earlier. Gaia vows to get Skizz to avenge Mary. But she doesn't want Ed to know anything about her plans to kill so she oushes him away from her and they end up getting in a huge fight. In turn this pushes Ed closer towards his ex-girlfriend and Gaia's worst enemy Heather Gannis. Meanwhile Loki (Tom's twin brother) is waiting for the moment Gaia will kill Skizz so he can claim Gaia as his own as he figures that once she's killed someone she will forever want to kill. This book was excellent and it definitely makes me want to read more of this series. It is a bit violent but not excessively so. If this sounds like your type of book go out and find a copy!! Happy Reading :)
Rating: Summary: a fearless breakthrough! Review: I love all the fearless books even though there are a few problems like the love triangle. But this book is by far the most important one. Gaia realizes that violence isn't the solution to every problem, and that she( like a normal human being), needs people, including ED.This is quite a breakthrough especially since we usually see Gaia having so much strength and will power. THis is a book in the series that should DEFINATELY be read.
Rating: Summary: excellent Review: I thought this book was good because I liked when Gaia startsto get jealous of Heather and Ed. Should be good in the next fewbooks.
Rating: Summary: possibly the best teen series? Review: I truly love this series! I think that the way ms. pascal has made this book, it seems as if it were written in first person when it is really in third! I think that gaia and sam will becoome a couple and so will ed and heather. At least, i hope so. But it wont happen for a while-i guesss. theese are very suspensful books and very compelling. I loved 'em!
Rating: Summary: The best series I've read! Review: It is an incredibly addicting series, and waiting a month to see what happens in the next book is really hard to get through with. Francine Pascal really masters the art of leaving the reader hanging, if thats a good thing :) Read it, but don't skip a book, you will miss something big.
Rating: Summary: what do you do when your best friend dies Review: mary moss has been murdered. to top it off it was done right in front of gaia. so gaia has decided to close herself to the world in order to hunt down this low life drug dealer who took her friend's life over a measley 500 bucks? will our heroine have the courage to do this and face the dire consequences after? this has to be the best fearless book to date. i know i have not read any of the other ones besides no. 10, but this is such a climax in gaia's life that all readers of this series should not miss it. it has more surprises than buffy the vampire slayer's season 6 finale.(if any of you watch that show.)suffice it to say that this one cannot be missed.
Rating: Summary: Fearless #9: Blood -- Someone will pay big time.... Review: Mary Moss is dead. She was fun. She was friendly. She made Gaia's depressing life seem so normal. She made Gaia's life so enjoyable. Gaia is devastated over her friend's death. She will do anything it takes to taste the blood of Mary's killer. She will stalk him down until she finds him. She will kill him, and let him have a taste of revenge. Gaia has gone after Skizz, the drug dealer whom Gaia believes had killed Mary. When she finds him, she will let him know that he is going to die hard because of killing the one person she truly needed to make her appeciate life while it was there. Francine Pascal brings Fearless #9: Blood to an astonishing and deep ending that makes readers feel Gaia's pain and need for revenge of her friend's heartbreaking death. It is not a book of the Fearless series to be missed; dramatic and intriguing, a new side of Gaia Moore who is fearless is shown that the author didn't fail to bring out in an amazing addition to the series.
Rating: Summary: Gaia is out for blood.... Review: Mary Moss was a funny, wild, and crazy girl who taught Gaia how to have a little fun. She also taught her how to be a friend, and how to let go and love life more. Mary was once a junkie, very much addicted to cocaine until she became friends with Gaia. But now, Mary is dead. Gaia doesn't know this, but it was Loki who murdered her. By helping Gaia "let go", Mary learned some dangerous secrets about Gaia's past, which inevitably put her in danger. Loki decided that "the Mary girl" must be terminated. And Gaia couldn't save her. In this ninth volume of Fearless, Gaia is so full of anger and grief about Mary that she wants to take action. To avenge her friend's murder. Gaia thinks that Skizz, Mary's ex-dealer who was threatening Mary for money before her death, is responsible for what happened to Mary, somehow. So Gaia goes on a little mission to murder Skizz. Wow. This book is so thrilling. The ending is great, too! It made me cry (you gotta love Ed, the sweetie!) So go out and read this book already!
Rating: Summary: Blood Review: Mary Moss was Gaia's best friend. But now Mary is dead, and Gaia saw murdered by who she thinks was Mary's old drug dealer, Skizz, who has threatened Mary's life before. Mary, one of Gaia's only friends, whom ade her life seem almost normal and living for, is gone forever. Gaia is devestated. She decides to go after Skizz, and kill him herself, for revenge of Mary's murder, because Mary was the only thing in Gaia's life that actually meant something to her. She feels like she owes to to Mary. Skizz though, doesn't seem like he would be the best murderer, though. As each day goes on, Gaia is filled with even more rage, and is more determined to kill Skizz. Fearless #9 was a great addition to the series. It has more action that any other book in the series so far. You can also feel the need for Gaia to get revenge.
