Rating: Summary: Wasn't the best but wasn't the worst! Review: As normal, I bought the book the day it came out, and as normal I cracked the pages as soon as I got home, but I was pretty disappointed with the content. I could tell by the first few pages it wasn't going to be all that great. And I was proved to be right. Pike has a very imaginative and creative mind, but this book dosen't exploit it the way it could've
Rating: Summary: Pike's Best Review: If you like stories that are deep and meaningful as well
as entertaining, BUY THIS BOOK! This book will teach you a lot about life. An 18 year old girl name Paige Christian
goes to another galaxy on a ship traveling at light speed.
The trip turns out to be more than what she had ever dreamed
about, or rather, she had ever had nightmares about. This book will definitely keep you on your toes during
the climatic parts. It will put you in tears at the sad parts, and it will steal your breath away when you find that at the end of the book, this book could have been your life story...ony in a science fiction fashion. And remember...buy this book, buy this book, buy this book, buy this book, buy this book. Just a suggestion! :-)
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I ever read!!! Review: The first ten pages hooked me. I couldn't put the book down! It was so exiting, so real. It made sense and fealt like reality. I liked it also because it was one big cycle. She went from herself to the person she met at the beginning of the book. You could feel her feelings, her sadness, her joy. You were inside the book, experiencing what she experienced. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes reading!
Rating: Summary: This book took my breath away. Review: The way that Christopher Pike wrote this book made me feel
like I was there with Paige. My heart felt for her when she had
to leave and in other places in the book. I couldn't put it down.
This was by far the best Pike book that I have ever read
Rating: Summary: It was like the secret of life was held inside the book! Review: It was so interesting I couldn't put the book down. What he talked about made me wonder what will happen next in this world. It was wierd how the person she didn't know where actually her! It really made me think if that was actually possible! I recomend it to most people
Rating: Summary: This book was awsome!! Review: As I read the pages of The Starlight Crystal, I was immediatly drawn into it. It was as if I was there with her. I could almost feel her pain when she was forced to leave Tem behind. Then her fear and loneliness when everything seemed to go wrong, leaving her all alone in the vast universe. I've recommended it to my buds and plan on buying it!
Rating: Summary: Story about a woman who journeys to the end of time & back. Review: Paige is a woman who, as part of the space program, will be on a ship to document the passing of time. You see, on this ship, they orbit the sun faster than the Earth, which causes them to sense the passage of time much slower. A week before they depart, she falls in love to a man named Tem. Unfortunately, on the ship, something goes terribly wrong with the Earth, and with the ship. After awhile, they are drifting along in their ship, until only Paige is left. The end of the universe arrives. And what happens is a surprise twist that will be a surprise to everyone
Rating: Summary: Emotionally Beautiful Review: I loved this book the whole way through. I felt as though I was a part of Paige's expiditions through the future of the Universe. I just cringe at the though of aliens invading the Earth and destroying it. I was so happy every time Paige was with Tem. I think that Pike could have told more about their relationship prior to when she left. I think It will be good for a sequal, too
Rating: Summary: Wasn't one of Pike's best Review: I was disappointed about this book. It doesn't seem realistic, and not very interesting
Rating: Summary: This Book Rocks! Review: This book I thought was probably the best book I have ever read.. I really hope Pike comes out with a sequel.. its well
written and just overall a powerful book. I would recomend
it to anyone in a second! If you can get your hands on a copy
read it!! I read it 5 times already
