Summary: pure science fiction
Review: Christopher Pike is changing writing styles, and I'm not sure if it's for the better. Each of his latest books have been shifting toward a more philosophical, science fiction approach. Read the Final Friends series, or the Remember Me series, and then open this book. Two totally different pieces of writing. I prefer the Remember Me and the Final Friends over Starlight Crystal whole-heartedly. I wanted to stop reading this book in the middle, but since I've never not completed a novel, I decided to keep reading. It wasn't until the last 5 pages of the book that I noticed the cultural and personal self-improvement connections to society today. It was then that I knew Pike had written from the heart, and not just another novel. The last moments of this novel saved it from being a disaster.

Summary: From Paige to Paige...
Review: I first read this book over 3 years ago, and it remains one of the brightest gems in my collection. The plot in and of itself is ingenious and captivating, but the true wonder comes from the questions it raises, and the tentative answers it offers. If you are ready to look within and see your own truth, you are ready to read The Starlight Crystal.

Summary: It is my favourite book ever!! It makes me cry every time
Review: This is the best book I have ever read by my favourite author. Although confusing at times you really need to concentrate on understanding it but I love the confusion from Christopher Pike books. It's got a bit of everything; there is romance and science fiction. The story line is wild and strange but I love it so much I must have read it about 20 times and yet I still continue to read it more times. You really must read this book. (At least a hundred times because it is so amazingly fab you will want to.)

Summary: Loved it
Review: I loved this book it was cool. I liked how the author setup the book. In the begining there are little things that don't add up and leaves you with questions. He leads you through a really exciting plot and almost at the end answers all questions. Of course than he makes new ones. He likes to add little twists and that's what I think makes the book really good. You'll love it.

Summary: I really hated this book.
Review: I saw all the great reviews so I got this book out at the library. It was not what I thought it would be. It was just so awful it was sheer torture to complete it. I have read MUCH BETTER teen sci-fi novels. The plot was really stupid. I din't care for the characters. And I really hate the Creation and the ideas about destiny. All in all, this book was a real stinker.

Summary: One of the best YA Pike books ever!
Review: Pike's "The Starlight Crystal" has got to be the best of his young adult books. It's right up there with "The Midnight Club." :) I like the idea of being able to live to the end of time and beyond. To be ancient, in a way. Now I can move on to his adult books. Anyway, I have to say this one is definitely 5 stars plus.

Summary: Wonderfully written story
Review: The story of Pagie Christian is a little difficult to understand but all in all the stroy was a real thriller. I loved the way it challenged so many things like religion and how much it challenged science and technology. History..no...creation, repeating it's self so interesting so capativating. To think that would or could possibly happen. There is no other book written quite like this one and only Christopher Pike could pull it off. It is a must read book.

Summary: This is our future...
Review: Her decision to join the crew of the Traveler took her to places beyond even our wildest imagination. Experience the pain, the love and the loss that Paige Christian faces as she journeys through time and space to discover what lies in the furthest depths of her destiny, her soul and her immortality. This book is a powerful expression of how insignificant we are in terms of how endless and infinite time and our universe are.

Summary: It goes on and on but but it finally end. It's the best!!
Review: I love the story! Near the end, well almost near the end it got a perfect part where the story can end. I was like "please end now, please." Not that I want it to be short but it got the perfect part and a happy one too. I don't want it to be any worse! I try not to cry after the boom exploded. Boy! It got some sad parts in it. But when the story finally come to and end it got a batter part. I felt like an angel. I was jumping for joy, well silently. This book was as good as The Last Vampire series. I reconmend this book to anyone. Pike wins every time!
