Summary: "The Fire" is the best book!
Review: "The Fire" is a psychological thriller for young adults. It has a character, Christina, that girls 11-14 can relate to, but that doesn't mean it is only for that age group. Caroline B.Cooney is the only auther that i have read so far that I really liked their style of writing. She hits with action in the begining of he book, and continues all the way through.

Summary: Thrilling!
Review: "The Fire" was a wonderful book for mystery and horror lovers everywhere! The way Caroline B. Cooney explains how the Shevingtons have a love for destroying lives, makes you stop and think, "What kind of people would find joy in making others suffer so badly?" I also found the whole book suspenseful and thrilling. The way Caroline explained Christina's obsession over fire was very vivid. I felt as if I was Christina and I was the one going insane. This is an excellent book and I recommend it to everyone who likes a good thrill!

Summary: A Little Danger and Mystery
Review: A Review by Laura
A girl named Christina who lives in Maine and is staying with Mr. And Mrs. Shevvington at Schooner Inn for the school year. The Shevvingtons seem really nice but Christina soon finds out that they aren't nice at all. They try to destroy the lives of teenagers that stay at schooner inn.

This book is very interesting; it had a good story line and way of hiding certain characters real identity. I like the way they expressed Christina's feelings toward other characters. I like that Christina is really strong and doesn't let the shevvingtons get her down or anyone else. Christina didn't really have anyone to turn to when the shevvingtons were trying to "take her down" because all the adults were on the shevvingtons side and some of the kids also. I thought this book was kind of inspiring, because Christina didn't care about what the other kids or adults thought about her. For a while Christina did fall into the shevvingtons plot against her, but she was really strong and didn't let them get to her.

I would recommend this book to people who like to read books with a little danger and mystery. It is easy to fallow and very interesting.

Summary: This book is hot,hot,hot!
Review: Fire by Caroline B. Cooney is the HOT book because it is the last book of its series. This book draws its readers into the emotions it has in the book. When I read it, I was mad at the Shevingtons(the adults of the island children) when they accuse Christina, one of the island children of having matches everywhere she goes. The story also makes you want to read the ending, I read this book in less than one day because its not too long but not too short to read. If you havent read this book you need to its so intreguing!

Summary: A Masterpiece
Review: Fire is the last book of the Losing Christina trilogy. Read the other two before reading this, unlike the April 8, 2003 reviewer who randomly read this book simply because it was by Cooney. This is a psychological thriller, not a survival thriller.

Here, Christina barely holds on to her last bit of insanity and desperately fights back to reveal what is really happening. Once again, this book will invoke some intense emotions throughout the book, as it did with the other two books.

Summary: losing christina: a truly amazing trilogy
Review: I am a huge Cooney fan(Strangely enough, "The Face On the Milk Carton" series is my least favorite of her works). This trilogy is amazing and so true to form about what teens and pre-teens are thinking, their fears, hopes, dreams, etc. I first read this trilogy when I was 12 or 13, and over the past ten years, I have read it over and over again. They are just amazing stories. Growing up, I had a few teachers who weren't meant to be teachers and understood Christina's frustrations and fears. The proof is in the pudding that even though I am an adult now, I just can't stop reading her books!

Summary: OK
Review: I like a lot of Cooney's books, but I was dissapointed with this one. If you want a good book by Cooney, try "Wanted." I loved that book.

Summary: I JUST DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!!!
Review: i really really enjoyed this book. this was the 3rd caroline b. cooney book that i read and the christine series made me want to read all of her books. everyone says that the chrstine series sucks..... well i just don't understand them. they rule!! sure the first one takes a while to get going but otherwise they are totally awesome. lots of ppl don't even read the whole book and then they say that it sucks. the christine series is definitely better than the "famous" face on the milk carton series. i loved this book. i say read it. and even buy it. i loved it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: You can't wait to see wait the lies on the next page!
Review: I thought the beginning of the book was a bit cliche. Cooney was using way too many adjectives and her attempts at foreshadowing were obvious. After reading a few chapters though, I was hooked. The book has so many twists and turns that you're left anticipating what will happen next.
