Rating: Summary: Hmm... Review: This book was really easy to get into, you open the first page and you are instantly drawn in. I read it in one sitting because it was really well written and makes you want to read on. It was very moving and I like the way it flicked between the past, present and of course the diary entries. It kept my interest and made me cry. However it was quite depressing and possibly triggering for cutters. For me it was a book I would read once or twice so it's better to get it out your local library than actualy buy it.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful book Review: This is one of my favourite books. It truly illustrated what goes on behind adults' backs these days, and besides that, it was British! It is powerful and moving, and Anna, Melanie, and Hayley Parkin are true-to-life characters. Excellent book, highly recommended by me.
Rating: Summary: Touching and Sad Review: This novel was so good it was fresh and new and the events that take place have sure been real problems in all schools the way the main character is victimised by a former friend pushes her over the edge and into complete madness, to understand this book you have to read it. it is a quick story but wow does it have a powerful message hidden in the text! I am sure everyone could relate to the main character at one time or another in their life the pure hatred and emotions she experiences. a very endering novel
Rating: Summary: Must Read!! Review: This was a great book. I'm a fast reader, but with some books, you just don't want to go on, but this book drew me in. I finished it in about 1/2 a day. The book makes you fel what the character is feeling, and leaves you wondering why people can be so cruel. Recommended this book to two of my friends and they LOVED it and agreed with what I said. Thanks Sue Mayfienld! I hope to see more of Mayfield's books in the future.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Review: You'll have to read it to find out what happens to anyone who wants to read a good and moving book. I was really captivated by the Authors understanding of Anna's feelings and even Haley Parkin's. In the book the point of view changes from Anna's to Melanie's to even her parents and brothers. It was a very well written book and I would definitely recommend it to someone.
