Rating: Summary: Actually, a very good book Review: I must admit, I was surprised. It proved to be a thrilling book, one that I enjoyed immensely. I do not desire to give away any of the plot points, but shall say that I absolutely adored the characters. To begin with, Roan, one of the main characters, is acutally pretty cool. He knows how to keep his fear in line, and will not let it get the best of him. He deals with hard truths pretty bravely, and still realizes that he is about the luckiest person on earth to have completely missed the Red-Rains. Speaking of the Red-Rains [Emerald tick-things that lay eggs in your skin and hatch - coming out. Not very pretty, VERY painful.], there is also the other main character Lumpy. He survived it, though unfortunately for him, he was caught in it. As of now, he is about the only one to have survived the Red-Rains in such a condition. Namely, he is about as pretty close to a corpse as you can get. Nevertheless, he proves a friend to Roan and is wise concerning nature. it is rather humourous when in a Labyrinth he is almost clausterphobic and seems to be having a nervous breakdown at the though of being locked in a stone corridor. Come to think of it, so would I. Anyway, I thought this was a very good book!
