Summary: Wonderful! A real suspense book
Review: I thought that this book was fabulous. It keeps you turning the page. The plot is very good and exciting. The only bad part of this book is that Cristina is looking for the other kidnapper for too long and it gets a little boring. But otherwise, I would really reccomend this book to someone.

Summary: It was....alright, I guess. Not what it was cracked up to be
Review: It was good in the suspense catagory, but it didn't even integrate common sense. No police officer (or relitive, for that matter) would only believe a man over a young girl in the case of kidnapping. The villian wasn't that bright, so it was not possible that he could have just covered EVERYTHING, even if he had been given instructions. The police logically would have found more clues then they did, and the ending should have been slightly more jolting. Plus, the ideas of the parents didn't make sense, either. Cathloic and Protestant are basically the same religion, just differing segments. But it WAS a good mystery, I'll give it that. Not in the kowledge catagory but, as said, in the suspense one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Starts out slow and ends weird, but a good book
Review: The beginning of this book was kinda boring if you ask me, and the ending was a little... disappointing or something. But it's still a good mystery... a better book of Nixon's that I would suggest is The Seance.

Summary: A faboulous mystery!
Review: The Kiddnapping of Christina Lattimore, by Joan Lowery Nixon was an excellent and well written book. But although I loved this book, I was not as good as I expected. I think the end was kind of a disappointment, but I would still highly recommend this book.

Summary: AN 'OKAY' Book
Review: The Kidnapping Of Christina Lattimore was a good book. I liked it a lot. But I thought it was kind of bad in some parts, but other than that, if you haven't read it, you should it a great book by Joan!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Suspense, thrilling,...Everything i would look for in a book
Review: This book has numerous climaxes, and it is because of this that makes this one of "jln's" best books. It is a tale of a teenage girl, christina, and her struggle to gain her parents consent to go away on a felid trip. Only one problem, her father is a straong christian and does not beleive in the roman religion (which is the main lesson to be taught when in rome)so while fighting against her parents crude comments and stern remarks, Christina finds hersself being kidnapped and in a dark basement. When she finally gets out of her "cell" and is rescued by police, everyone ,including her parents, are convinced that she took part in the planning of the kidnapping so that she could go on her feild trip which, now, means absolutly nothing to her. In the middle of her battle with friends family and others she meets a young handsome guy, kelly. This is the begining of their friendship which not only sparks a slight romance, but makes the once solo struggle into a charming duo.
I find this exceptional novel rising above all the many Joan Lowery Nixon books and all other books i have ever had the joy of reading.

Summary: What a mystery!!!
Review: This book is about a girl who wants very badly to go on a trip to France, but her grandmother won't give her the money. So she gets mad and goes to her friend's house and stays till about midnight. Then she gets kidnapped and no one believes her. They think she's responsible. So she's trying to prove her innocence. But the kidnappers get caught, and she is sent to jail. When she gets bail, her grandmother is pressing charges.

I liked this book because it was a mystery. The author was very specific and it kind of makes you think. I gave this book an 8 1/2 because it could have been better. Some parts could have been more realistic. Everything else was very good, mostly how she explained everything. She (Joan Lowery Nixon) has a great imagination, and I like her work. I would also recommend this book for ages 11 and up because there are some bad words.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is fantastic!
Review: This book is so good! I have read lots of Joan Lowery Nixon's books and this one was the best. I like the way Christina expresses herself through-out the book and I would feel the same way if I had been kidnapped and no one believed me!The end is a big suprise, at least it was for me!If you have not read this book before ,you should!
