Summary: Alice Alone- This book is very descriptive-MKB
Review: Alice Alone is a great book. It is about a girl named Alice who is in high school. Alice has a older brother named Lester who is in his 20's and she has a dad. Alice's mom died when Alice was in kindergarten. Alice's dad is in love with Alice's middle school english teacher named Ms. Summers. Ms. Summers is in England deciding between Alice's dad and Mr. Sorringer(the assistant principal.) Alice has two best friends named Pamela and Elizabeth. Pamela is the wild one and Elizabeth is the christian one, but Elizabeth has a very big secret that she has never told anyone. And of course Alice has a boyfriend named Patrick. Alice and Patrick have been dating since middle school, but there is a new girl in town named Penny and Patrick seems to be attracted to Penny.
I think girls would like this book because it has problems that girls go thruogh . I dont think boys would be interested in this book.

Summary: Alice Alone is a great book and I mean it!!
Review: Alice Alone is really, truly good book. It's the story about alice where she just starts high school and feels like she might have a good year when it suddenly turns around. There's a new girl in town and takes a liking to Alice's boyfriend immediately. While she tries to adjust to this, she hears disturbing news about her dad's fiancee and tries to balance that too. Alice learns how to trust and have confidence in people.

This book is very emotional and when I read it a second or third time, I find it hard to hold the tears back. I'm in eighth grade but I'd recommend this book to high school, middle school, maybe even 5 and 6 grade. It seems so real when you read it, it's hard not to feel like your Alice.

Summary: ALICE ROX THIS WORLD!!!!!!!!
Review: ALICE ALONE is the best book in the series! Alice is in highschool, and it's hard, but really fun. However, things start to get shaky at Alice's co-ed sleepover with a "fake kiss". Penny, the new girl, is taking Patrick's heart by storm. Is he still alice's boyfriend when he shows his feelings toward Penny? More trouble comes with Elizabeth and a very dark secret, Ms. Summers and Mr. Sorringer, Lester and Marylin, and much more. Will Alice be alone forever? With some good friends, Alice can survive. This book is very emotional: funny, sad, and full of life lessons. Once or twice it made me cry and I have laughed at least 10 times out loud. It is an essential book to read for 5-8 graders to learn what you still have to come. I love it!

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: ALice ALone, by Phyllis Naylor, Talks mostly on issues most teens must face while growing up. The feelings Alice has are realistic and true.... it makes you feel like it's you all this emotion is talking place to you.... not Alice... and that you ARE her. There are funny parts to the story.... stories on frienship and love... trust and romance... ands what it's like to lose the one you love.... as well as touching stories, like Elizabeth's, and what it feels like to be replaced by someone else.... even if that person it cute as a button and all the guys like her.... I wont go into much details, but I just have to say that I despised Penny since the first day of school, all the way to the last day of the book. The WHOLE way through. I don't have any respect for Partick... especially now... but he lost my interest after I read "Outrageously Alice". I absolutely ADORED Sam, the guy who likes Alice, and wanted them to get together, because Patrick is soooo old now, and he's been with Alice waaaay too long! Why can't SHE date someone else?? Like SAM? Why can Sam break up with Jennifer, date Alice, and then live happily for a while (changes in boyfriends are totally needed in this series for Alice) and then Alice like someone else.... they get together... etc. I have sooooo many complaints, but this book is definetly worth it! You should read it!

Summary: The Crisis of a Crestfallen Relationship
Review: Alice and her friends finally enter in high school. But, problems were awaiting for Alice, the very first second she had began high school.
Her friend Karen was going to have a coed party, but she couldn't, so Alice had it at HER house. The girls who were invited made boxer shorts for Lester's b-day and gave him a birthday cake. It was totally hilarious and when Lester was alsleep, the girls (except Alice and these two shy girls, Lori and Leslie) made a litle crown for him!
If I were there, I would have probably laugh the hardest than anyone there, perhaps. Alice and everyone else had had a good time when Alice saw a picture of her boyfriend and the New Girl Penny "fake-kissing"!
After that glance at that photo, Alice starts to lose her confidence just like that and when Penny seems to hang around more with Patrick than Alice, Alice actually has a cold conversation with Patrick and turns out, he likes BOTH of them! So when she said that he should take Penny to the Snow Ball, he said that maybe he will!
Then they both went home, and Alice cries. Obviously this novel was sad, but the author made it sound so interesting. Alice realizes that when she was single, and got more appreciated and needed in certain things, she was glas that she can finally have some Alice time for herself, at least.
I've never had an official boyfriend yet, but I DO realize that even though when someone's totally single and wants a boyfriend, they start to realize that there's more to life to them out there, than just boys. To be totally honest, I'm sorta glad that Alice and Patrick broke up.
They were a great couple, but once when high school began, that's when both of them were too busy to bond with one another like before. I mean, let's face it: What is really the point of going steady when other things are on your mind? This was my favorite book of the novels that I have read so far.
Elizabeth tells Pamela and Alice about a man molesting her when she was seven! It was just so sad to read that, especially when it had happened to one of Alice's friends!
But this novel brought attention to many fans of Alice a whole lot, and was very well thought of and written. I suggest you reading it, if you are totally bored and have nothing to do. Because this is a good book to read when you have social problems nowadays in your life.

Summary: Alice Alone

She wants Patrick to be her man. Penny's flirtatious ways eventually make someone fall for her. Alice is left devastated. And even though you know she won't be alone for eternity, you feel the anguish she does and that every girl(or guy) does when someone breaks their heart. Alice learns that even when your life seems like there is no tomorrow, there is and if you just live day by day, you will put your life back together. A funny touching story, Mrs. Naylor never lets her readers down.

Summary: Tells of a new girl's closeness with her best friend
Review: Alice is growing up and facing the special challenges of dating in a title which tells of a new girl's closeness with her best friend Patrick. When Patrick begins seeing Penny, Alice responds by challenging his affection, and finds herself alone. Her supportive family and friends lend help and insights, but it's Alice who must face some hard decisions in this fine title which needs no introduction from prior books in order to prove accessible to newcomers.

Summary: Alice Alone
Review: Everything's going smooth until Penny starts flirting with Patrick and Patrick dumps Alice for her. Patrick was such a huge part of her life for two years and to suddenly have that taken away with many hurtful remarks was truly heartbreaking. Does Alice even know who she is anymore? Will she EVER get over Patrick or stay in the black pit of depression forevermore? How will she deal with this on top of hearing an even more heartbreaking tale of Elizabeth's childhood molest? Will Alice ever get her old life back???? Read this and find out! I also strongly advise not to read this if you are under the age of 13 or 14 since it has rather disturbing adult graphic material in the midst of it pages and will make you blush Crayola Fire-engine red!

Blessed BE!!!
