Rating: Summary: As Long as We Both Shall Live Review: All of Lurlene's books are good but this one has a connection with people that some of the other ones don't
Rating: Summary: Stories of Love Review: I like this book because it containes two novels that complete each other. The first book is about April and Mark. April is in the hospital having some tests run, and you know that when a test returns positive its never a good thing. Mark suffers from CF and he proclaims to April in the hospital that one day they will be married. You have to admire him for his guts, if not insanity. April is turned off at first because of his illness, but Mark is ever persistant. The story is about them falling in love and dealing with each other's illness. The second book is about April and Brandon and their love. I cant tell you more about this book without giving away the first book, so thats all the summary I can give. These two books are about loving and giving. The stories are sad, but tears are to be expected from reading McDaniel's work. I really like these books because of the underlining message of self sacrificing love, I hope I didn't give too much away by saying that. I loved these books and they did make me cry. Read these and enjoy more of McDaniel's work with the One Last Wish series and the Dawn Rochelle novels.
Rating: Summary: That's so GoooD Review: I really like 2 novels in the book. That about Mark Gianni, who April's fiance, and Mark is dead which made me so cried. Other novel, about Brandon Benedict saw April stood on the hill. And, I was surpised that April---why not read that book right now? Who will agree with me that Lurlene McDaniel should still write different books? I am deaf...thanz
Rating: Summary: SO AWSOME.... Review: I thought these two books were probably the best books ever. They caught my attention from the first page. ANd to tell you the truth, I never did put it down. I finished it that day. If anyone enjoys catch the attention books this one is the one for you. Try it out, it won't bite....
Rating: Summary: Beautiful.....I was in tears Review: Okay, this will sound weird, but it's true. My mom's friend knows Lurlene McDaniel and she sent me an autographed copy of this book. I hadn't read it and wasn't planning on it, but when I got the book, I decided to. Anyways, it was wonderful. My mother and I were both in tears at the end of this book. I loved Mark almost as much as April did. I wish that every guy in the world could be that way. It was so sweet when April put on her wedding dress and wore it for Mark at his death since he couldn't see her at the altar and it was so sweet the way she gave back the half heart at his funeral. Brandon was nice too, but I just liked Mark better. It was so sad that they both died in the end. But it was good that Mark died from doing something he loved and April died in paradise instead of a cold, lonely hospital. I loved this book, I recommend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A disappointment Review: When I was reading the summary of this book, I thought it sounded like a great book. Much to my dissatisfaction, it turned out to be a terrible book. The author moved the stoyr along much to quickly, and it wasn't anywhere near deep, considering the plot. The author didn't draw me into the book. I wish I'd not spent my $10.00 on the book and won't be buying anymore from this author.
