Summary: The Book Kept Me On The Edge Of My Seat
Review: I think this book can be beliveable. The author,James Howe, really brought out the characters. In some parts of the book, I was excited to see what would happen. The charcters of the book were just like normal teenagers and kids. The author would explain what teenagers did when they are depressed. Most of them would go to parties and drink. The watcher was a very important character. She was one of my favorite characters. I also like this book because of the way people expressed them selves. Weren't afraid to be who they really were. That is why I really enjoyed this book "THE WATCHER"

Summary: One of My Favorite Books
Review: This book was one of the best books I have ever read. The author intertwines the lives of three very different individuals so well. There is a story going on in it also, and in the end, it ends up being a true story. I have just recommended it to three other people. This book is for young adults as well as young adults. This is deffinatley a must read.

Summary: Creepy
Review: This is one of the most subtle, haunting, unsettling books I've ever read. It gave me chills down my spine. Margaret and Evan, two of the most interesting characters ever to be found in a young adult book, had me drawn irresistably into their story. A creepy story. An amazing story.

Summary: Ohmigosh!
Review: I read the last few chapters of this novel with opera swelling in the background, and by the time I was done, I was sobbing. It centers upon three characters which come together at the end of this very lyrical novel. Many of the thoughts these characters feel, I have experienced myself. Beautiful.

Summary: Amazing achievement...
Review: This was the first by James Howe that I have read and I was truly impressed. The book is an amazing achievement both on a physcological level and for approaching a hard topic of family abuse. It starts off slowly and seemingly perfect, but continues to lead the reader into a complex world of three teenagers, who are so different yet so much the same. The last few pages are definite page turners and bring the whole story together, to form one unforgetable impression that stayed with me long after I finished the book.
