Rating: Summary: The Watcher Review: In his novel, THE WATCHER, James Howe writes about three troubled teenagers who meet at Fire Island, a seaside resort. As a result of this encounter, their lives will be forever changed and connected for all time.Howe uses a combination of allegory, stark realism and his knowledge of what it is like to be a young person in an ever changing world where you can't always get what you want, to create a sensitive and emotionally charged novel.
Rating: Summary: "The Watcher" My #1 on a scale to 1-10 a 10! Review: This book has insired me to read through out my life I've so many books that I now enjoy that books have been in my life since i was born.
Rating: Summary: You MUST Read "The Watcher"! Review: "The watcher" I must say is the best book I have ever read, and I've read a lot of books too. James Howe has brought a story within a story. Even though it talks a lot about a boy named Evan, the book would not be the best book with out him. If evan was not in the book the story would be the worst book instead of the best book i have ever read. If you don't read "The watcher" then you will be missing out on somethin really great.
Rating: Summary: Good, Good Book!!! The Watcher! Review: This is a great book! I read it in less then a week. It's a complex story that you CAN'T put down! It's about a "lost" girl that just watches the people of the beach, she thinks there perfect. The lifegaurd, working his tan all day, and the loving brother, helping and playing with his little sister all day. Though, things are not what they seem at all. Rotating veiws from chapter to chapter with a meaningful poem in between each, this book is wonderful. I recomend every teen to read this book, it really opens up your eyes to see that nothing is perfect.
Rating: Summary: Who is watching Who? Review: This book is about 3 teenage strangers who watch and wonder about each other on the beach one Summer. One of them is a girl that never speaks to anyone who is dubbed the Watcher by the other 2.The 3 never interact until the very end of the book when the other 2 save the Watcher from a terrible secret that she had hid from everyone. The book kept my attention and I liked the story angle.
Rating: Summary: Different Review: This book was very good. It was a little hard to understand because the author was always changing the person, he never really had a person who was the main character. He had a lot going on in the book and the author was just trying to keep up with the all the characters. Also one other thing that wasn't the best was the language there was a lot profanity in the book. Other than those things the book was easy to read. I would really suggest this book because it was very well written.
Rating: Summary: The Book Review: This book is one of the best books i have ever read!It is a very powerful book and can be read grade 5+. The book can get a little confusing, jumping from different people. This is a great book for people who really enjoy books and understand them. I suggest u read it!

Rating: Summary: Great read, fast though!! Review: Our reading class spent two weeks from today reading this. I thought it was good the writer did a good job discribing characters. Some of the places in the book are real. I didn't want to end. Had a great ending. I don't want to get into details. It'd spoil the ending. But what I'm saying is read this. You'll not regret it. I didn't want to put it down either.
Rating: Summary: The Watcher Review: I thought this book was really good because it was full of suspence, I never knew what was going to happen next. It was kind of confusing from time to time but for the most part it was an interestin book. I liked how there were poems throughout the book.
