Review: Prisoner Of Time is the third book in a trilogy that includes Both Sides of Time and Out of Time. However, in this book, it follows the lives of Tod Lockwood and Devonny Stratton, instead of the characters in the first book, Annie Lockwood and Strat. When Tod is up at Stratton Point refueling on its natural spring water, he is unwillingly taken by time. Once Tod realizes what has happened, he is in the year 1899. Time has dragged him here to rescue the wealthy Stratton girl. I really liked this book a lot but I was slightly disappointed in the fact that it wasn't about Annie and Strat, because I'm anxious to see what happened to them. I also hope that Caroline B. Cooney comes out with an addition to this trilogy soon! This book is great if you like Science Fiction/ Time Traveling stories with a great plotline!

Summary: Prisoner of its Pages
Review: "Prisoner of Time" is possibly one of the most riveting books I have ever read. It is definitely a page-turner. Don't start this book unless you have plenty of free time to read the whole thing, or someone to force you to put it down. When your friends have to hide it from you, you know you're hooked. Never has another book combined time travel, murder, and romance in such an interesting way, and no murder mystery has ever concealed the criminal so well. I also recommend the books companions. Although the third book is somewhat unrelated to the other two, it is just as well written.

Review: I have never read any of the time books before, i've read the Janie books and they were good. I was completeley into the book and i thought i knew what was goingto happen but they whole thing with not putting Tod and Dev together, that just sucks and then i here how earlier annie and strat don't get together! My God, i want to see a happy ending, once and a while!

Summary: This book's gross exaggerations give it its charm!
Review: Caroline Cooney has done it again. This time, she has presented an unbelievably exaggerated portrait of Victorian women and family life. There are some tiny kernels of historical truth here and there, but that's it. Despite what Caroline Cooney says, there certainly were women journalists in the 1890's! (Thus making the line: "Why a woman in New York was writing articles for a newspaper just as if she was a man!" completely inappropriate for the time period)And it was not rude to refer to having female children. I know this because it was mentioned in Edith Wharton's "The Age of Innocence" without anyone gasping in shock. (And Edith Wharton was really there in Victorian times. I truly doubt Ms. Cooney was) I could write forever listing all the inaccuracies in this book! But as terrible as they are, they also make the book terribly compelling! No wonder it's so popular!

Review: I read both Both Sides of Time and Out of Time and was psyched when Prisoner of Time came out. I was disappointed when I learned it wasn't about Annie and Strat, but I decided to buy it anyway since the other two were so good. It was horrible! I thought it was interesting that she put Devonny and Tod together, but she should have stuck with Annie and Strat. I hope the author writes another book to this series, because I really want to know what happens to Annie and Strat.

Review: I thought this book was great. even though it wasnt about annie and strat, it was neat to see things from another characters view. the way caroline cooney writes makes me never want to put down the book! i thought this book had a great ending, but like everyone said, i'm still wondering what became of strat! i really hope caroline cooney writes another book, but wont annie still have to go back to her own time? i mean, of course everyone wants annie and strat to be together, but it just wont end up that way, annie has a family. unless those archives that had no information on strat r waiting for annie to come back to him and make history. well, i would atleast really like to see another book on what happned to strat and i hope hes not already married! caroline, i hope ur reading this and already starting on the new book! :)

Review: The first two were really good. This one sucked. Nothing about Annie, nothing about Strat, no true romance. The English Lord hates Devonny, only wants her money, and then when she is gone, he turns into a wonderful person? I want to know what happens to Strat. Where did he go from Spain? Did he ever make it to Egypt?

Review: If you read the first two books of this time-Trilogy, you would have to agree that it's not much of a romantic plot and such a dissapointment for me to see that it's not at all about Annie and Strat. a true let down. The book is good but if you are looking for real romance get the first two.

Review: I think that this book was really good!!!! It gave me the same feeling the other ones did. The only disappointment was the different characters. Devonny was awesome but whatever happened to Annie and Strat?? After reading this one I can't even remember the cliffhanger you left us with in Out Of Time!!! Everyone wants to know what happened to Strat!!!! Is he really in Egypt? Let Annie save him again!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! :) I LOVED THE TRILOGY BUT CONSIDER ADDING ONE MORE TO THE SERIES PLEASE!!!
