Summary: Pretty Good Book
Review: I liked when Simon's friend booted his flour baby in the creek. There are a lot of rules to have a flour baby. Like you have to keep it with you at all times. Simon got mad because he didn't know who his dad was. He asked questions to some of his teachers.
Simon got a lot of dentions in one day. Simon went to go put the flour babies in the class room but he got in trouble. Simon got to kick the flour babies to pieces. He kept his flour baby.
By Jeremy H. for my 7th grade reading class.

Summary: After years, I still think this is a cute book..
Review: I read this book some years back.....and I think it is very interesting...I mean, would you ever imagine that you will have to take care of a flour babie? well, I think Flour babies are cute... such a cute idea for a book...besides the flour babies, we can see the changes in Simon as well... all in all, I think this is a great book =)

Summary: Does not transalate
Review: I think the biggest problem I had with this book was the fact that my copy was published in the US, and the publishers, or possibly the author herself, made a few stupid changes to make the story take place here. The kids do not speak like American kids and the problems of the American delinquent are badly missed in the story. My other problems with this book, ones that should be problems on either side of the pond, are the timelines in the flashback scenes, and the round and overly aloof way everyone's problems are solved or forgotten in favor of a dramatic and prophetic conclusion. It's a good idea, it just not a great execution.

Summary: Funny School
Review: I think this book is quite cool. It is sometimes funny but sometimes boring. It is set in a english primary school. This boy has to deal with emotianal problems and he learns more than he could possibly imagine about being a parents. this is a good book and i would recommend it to anyone between the ages of 9 and 13.

Summary: The Flour Baby Review
Review: I think this book would appeal to people in the age of 11-13, as there are some humourous parts within but there can be some very serious parts like where the main character discovers himself. Also, its about self relationships. I rated the book 3 out of 5 because even though I found it a fairly good read, you wouldnt find it on my book shelf. I thought that there were some arears where the book seemed to drag on and on. Otherwise i would have rated it 4 out of five.

Summary: What an Interesting story!!!!
Review: I thought "Flour Babies" by Anne Fine, was a wonderful book. I think the main character 'Simon" is interesting because ofthe way he changed from a noisy, mischievious punk, into a kind and studifull student. I really thought it was touching how he began to think of his flour babie as a real child, and how he learns more about the father who had left Simon and his mother just weeks after he was born. After I started reading Flour Babies I could hardly put it down. Anyone who is interested in a funny yet touching story, Flour Babies is the book for you.

Summary: Alright book!
Review: I thought Flour Babies by Anne Fine was o.kay. It wasn't the best book I have ever read.
The book is about a particular form 4c. It is set in a comprehensive school. The Flour Babies project lasted 21 days and it showed how Simon the main character deals with a real life situation of parenthood and how difficult it is to cope with a baby. By having to carry the sack of flour around with him all the time and not letting it out of his sight.

Review: I thought the book was quite humorous and was extremly well layed out and plotted. It had a very good ending and alot of true emotions. Simon martin was a very confusing character as, he was always changing him and his emotions. Anne fine made the impression that simon was a real tuff lad but he isn't and i thought that was a very good twist.

Summary: Flour Babies Review...
Review: I thought this book was a okay book. It wasnt my favorite. I thought this book was interesting when the character has to learn about how life is in the world and parenthood. The character also uses this weird project to figure out his own life like why his father stop being ressponsible;with a single mother who is raissing him. Kids and teenagers shouldnt treat their parents with dissrespect. I think this book is a funny and usual book. The character also experinces peer pressure with his friends. Read this book for enjoyment.
