A Ride into Morning: The Story of Tempe Wick

Review: I thought that this story was one of the best!! Having read numerous of Ann's historical books I thought it was one of the best. The narrirator, Mary, helped descibe it even though it was about Tempe. It was a good time frame. I'm studing Americas wars in school and this was a total help! Once again Ann has written a wonderful book!

Review: I'm a 14 year old girl who, I'm happy to say has read all of Ann Rinaldi's historical fiction books! And for me to comment on every one of them it would take me forever to tell you that they are all extremely well written and seem very real, despite the fiction weaved into it. But now back to "Ride Into Morning". It is very well written and a really intresting legend about how Tempe Wick and her cousin Mary Cooper hide Tempe's horse in the Wick house! And if you liked this book you should try her others, but unfortunately my favorite (that I read from the school library) "Time Enough For Drums" is out of print and isn't being published!!! I have been trying so hard to get my hands on it to read again (4th time) but I can't buy it anywhere! So if anyone knows of a place for me to buy this book could you please tell me?! Anyway, I hope you enjoy her books!

Summary: LAFFY TAFFY AGAIN!! THIS BOOK WAS GOOD TOO
Review: If you guys haven't figured it out Ann Rinaldi is my favorite author. (Check out my reviews for Time Enough for the Drums and the Last Silk Dress) Anyways this book was GOOD, it had some action, some romance, (though not as good as time enough for the drums) it was still good. Its about a girl named, well I can't remember her name, I think it was mary, but I don't like the name Mary so we are going to call her Madelyn. She is staying w/ her cousin Tempe, and Madelyn is like head over heals, wait they didn't have heals then! Head over moccasin for this general, and ya da ya da ya da. JUST READ IT!

Review: okay, I have two favorite authors- Ann Rinaldi and Kit Pearson. Out of all the Ann Rinaldi books I've read (and that would be all except for two of them), this one was the best. I live in New Jersey and have *been* in the Tempe Wick house multiple times. I have *been* in that orchard, i know where the portapotties are! I think my familiarity with the places added to my enjoyment of the book. This book SO rocks

Review: Ride into morning is filled with action, advventure, and even a little romance! I just wish Enos and Mary had confessed sooner. Mary's cousin Tempe will make you frusterated! You'll swoon over general wayne, and care for Henry. Read this book and find out what I'm talking about. The character s are great!!!

Review: This is one of the BEST Rinaldi books I've ever read! It's about fourteen year-old Mary Cooper. She goes to live with her cousin Tempe Wick, who despises her more than anything. Throught the book, you learn of Mary's life with her cousin, up until the point when the "mutiny raid" occurs. Mary witnesses the frightening scene, as well as helps Tempe save her beautiful horse, Colonel, from Billy Bowzar. I loved this book SO MUCH! If anyone passes this book by, they'll be missing out! It's filled with suspense, adventure, and a little bit of romance! The PERFECT BOOK! Great job Ann!

Review: You have got to read this book!!!!!!!!!! Although i do say there isn't enough romance it was such a good book. I have all of Ann Rinaldi books. Well a few i read from the library. But anyway. THIS IS THE BEST BOOK THAT ANN RINALDI HAS EVER WRITTEN. You should also check out Girl in Blue.
