Summary: BORING
Review: A Ride Into Morning was the most boringest book that I have ever read. I could put it down and never pick it up ever again to do my book report. I started to read it and I feel asleep. I don't recommend this book to anybody unless they enjoy boring books by the bad author Ann Rinaldi.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thrilling, exciting, and interesting
Review: Ann Rinaldi has done it once again! This book was completely breathtaking. I couldn't put it down once I got into the plot. There's Ann Rinaldi's chracteristics in this book : History and romance combined.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: OMG, This is such a great book.
Review: Ann Rinaldi wrote another great book. I've almost read all her books. Mary Cooper, the main character, has a wonderfully developed character. If you like this book, read Time Enough For Drums. It is her best book. It is out of print but it can be found at the Dutch Amazon.com or Amazon.de

Summary: Original, but too much cheesy romance
Review: Eh, rather too much lust and love in this Rinaldi book. Too much details on Tempe's love interests than what this book should have focused on: history. Nevertheless, a pretty well rounded Rinaldi book, I personally recommend this. A very original historical.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great,but not too great
Review: I am a teenager who has read most of Rinaldi's books. This one was wonderful, but not that good. It's about a 14 year old named Mary Cooper. I don't like it because Mary's cousin Tempe is so obnoxious. I don't understand why Mary forgives her. Also there is too much focus on Love.(why did Mary have a crush on a 36 year old?) I liked the Fifth of March much better.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not her best
Review: I basically love Ann Rindaldi. But every author hits a clinker, and I think that this was hers. It was more like a chore than an adventure to read this book. I mean, why does this lieutenant that the reader knows next to nothing about suddenly reveal his romantic passions for a schoolgirl, anyway? I mean, the man has got to be twice her age, but in Ann's books, and I do mean most of her books, this is going to turn into the marriage of a middle-school-aged child to an officer in the army. And I actually found the narrator to be an obnoxious and dull girl who adds nothing to the plotline. A few traces of her better writings played peek-a-boo every now and then, but it wasn't anything I would reccomend to a friend, you know what I mean? I'd reccomend "An Aquaintance with Darkness."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Loved it 9 years ago, love it today!!!
Review: I first read this book when I was in 3rd grade. It was the first real novel I read and it got me addicted to historical fiction! A Ride into Morning is just as exciting every time you read it. Ann Rinaldi does a fantastic job of grabbing the reader from the very beggining. Mary is a believable character, and you sympathize with her, but also Tempe. Read the book, you wont regret it!

Summary: OK, but definatly not Rinaladi's best
Review: I read this book. It was written fairly well but it took to long for anything to happen. I found this book boring. It is definatly not the best historical fiction I have ever read. I don't highly recomend this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I think the book was very good overall.
Review: I think the book was really good...it portrayed the characters in a different type of light. My personal perspective was that it was very well written...It is seldom that someone can describe and tell without making us all snooze in our seats. This is also a good book to read in class, because there is much to discuss. There is more to the story than you see by reading it. You must think about the whole plot and relate to the character. So, this is a definite must read!
