Summary: The Book To End All Feminine Books
Review: This book was fantastic! Usually, you never hear about the women in Greek or Roman mythology, but in this book, the whole story is told through the women's point of view.
My favorite was the profile of the story as told by Penelope, because since it was the first, it set the stage for all chapters ahead of this one. She was a lot less quiet in her own words than she is in the Odyssey. The suitors, on the other hand, are bad! Very bad! You don't spend someone's money and try to seduce their wife, unless your sure that the guy is dead!
It gets difficult, but it just has to be. This is a great book, in language simple enough to understand, not like the actual book, and pretty much every woman can relate to.

Summary: One of my favorite books
Review: This is a great read for anybody who likes fantasy or Greek mythology. I encourage people to read it, because it is very interesting. I read it in one day because I just couldn't stop. It is the story of the Odyssey from the wonen's point of view. I've also read the Odyssey and Waiting for Odysseus is much better. I love the book. IN the book it talks about the love story between Penelope and Odysseus which is oh so romantic. THis is one of my favorite books in the world. So read it.

Summary: Expanding your mind in a twist....
Review: This is a very well written book, yet there are some parts that guys cannot relate to. Yet if someone like myself, that is really interested into Greek mythology, you will really get into this book. This book has many qualities that keeps the book interesting...deception, revenge, romance, and brawling. Waiting for Odesseus trully will keep you in the chair reading, it has many in depth parts that in The Oddessy never really went to describe much. Waiting for Odesseus is read through the eyes of the women of The Oddessy, i think its some what of a twist, Waiting for Odesseus gives life to the women who would have never been described as much. I really dont read books much, but this was probably the only book I have really read in a couple years. Its worth it, if you like Greek Mythology stuff.

Review: Waiting for Odysseus is a great book. This book has different points of veiws from four different people in the Odyssey. I like that because you can get inside the mind of other people in the book. I would recommend this book to anyone. If you have read the Odyssey, this book is the same story concept but told in different point of views and their feeling. It's great!
