Review: This book is a fast read that points out the history of six cult leaders past and present. In reading this book you will get some basic information into what types of persons become leaders and how they control.
As far as the author definitions of a cult I agree with most of what she says except where she states what Christians label as a cult. She says that they label anything as a cult does not agree with what they believe. This is not the case. Christians over the years have labeled a group as a cult when they proclaim to be a Christian group but deny or distort the essential doctrines that the church adheres to as a whole. Islam, Buddism, Hinduism,etc... are not called cults but world religions even though they would not agree with their doctrines.
