Summary: She loves me not? He loves me not?
Review: This has got to be the best book in the series. Its the type that makes you want to skip the whole book and read the last page. This book is not dull at all! Finally after a couple of books Damon and Jessica are once again mentioned. Lacey + Richard Griggs = um..uh-oh? I'm telling you to immedietly go to the nearest bookstore or order it from HERE and READ it. You'll definately LOVE it!

"

Summary: It wasn't good enough.
Review: This is the worst book I've ever read! I mean Damon's all nice and stuff but sometimes the author makes a boring plot. And I thought that the book made it boring because all it talked about Damon about Mrs. Serson, Jessica thinking Damon has a crush on her, Lacey flirting in almost every part of her part of the story. Also, what does Lacey have to do with the Damon-Jessica-Mrs.Serson thing?

Summary: Will Damon and Jessica's relationship survive?
Review: Tons of things are happening in Damon's life and Jessica is getting mad because he doesn't tell her anything. Meanwhile, she gets this really cute guy, Chris, as her lab partner who is definitely interested in her. Jessica thinks that Damon isn't jealous at all and that he doesn't like her anymore, but I love how she is still true to him, even when Chris asks her out. Damon is so lucky to have Jessica- this was a great book. Finally, after like a 3 book intermission, we have more of Damon and Jess. This book has the coolest ending! My fave so far in the series.

Summary: Book #19 in the Sweet Valley Jr. High Series
Review: When Damon Ross' English teacher, Mrs. Serson, asks him to join her newly-formed literary magazine group, Damon is surprised, yet he gladly accepts the invitation, enjoying the attention his young, pretty teacher has started giving him. It's a real ego boost for him, and he starts to develop a small crush on his teacher. Not a very complicated one though, but you get the hint he's starting for feel something for her.

Damon's girlfriend (Jessica Wakefield), however, doesn't feel like he's showing enough interest in her, because he hardly ever includes her in his everyday life, i.e., the developing problem at home with his mother's new boyfriend (Ben). Jessica doesn't realize yet that Damon isn't the type to express his thoughts or feelings freely. So, she interprets his silence as his way of blowing her off. Will Jessica, in turn, split up with him for her hot new science partner, Chris Grassi, who is far more interested in her than Damon appears to be?

Meanwhile, Lacey Frells suddenly dumps her older high school boyfriend (Gel), and it looks like she may hook up with Richard Griggs, the most conceited boy in school. Honestly, I think these two are perfect for each other; they're both complete snots.

This is the first Sweet Valley Junior High book I've read so far. Unlike most other Sweet Valley books, this book/series is written in the first-person, which does create a bit more "closeness" between the reader and character, more so than in, say, the Sweet Valley Twins series (an older version of the middle-school years featuring the Wakefield twins, which was also written by the same author, Jamie Suzanne, although I doubt most younger readers will remember these books). Like the SVH: Senior Year series, there are also random journal entries and notes in here, which makes this book/series all the more enjoyable. Recommended for 8 to 12-years-old.
