Review: The book is called Shark Bait and it's by Graham Salisbary, the book is about how to be careful and it could be a real life story like when the Navy guys try to pick a fight. What was good about it was it was realistic and what was bad about it is that those things could really happen in real life. I give it a thumps up because teenagser would be interstead in the book because they might be dealing with the same problems.

Review: An exciting book is Shark Bait by Graham Salisbury. Mokes' parents tell him he should be home when the Navy comes a shore but will Mokes sneak out of the house to see his friend fight? The good thing about the book was the characters were realistic. The bad thing about the book was the charater CC. I give this book two thumbs up. I recommend this book to teens who have a great interest in action. I think this book shows people are influenced by peer persure and can be at the wrong place at the wrong tim.

Summary: a first rate thriller for teens.
Review: Mokes is torn. His parents tell him he must be home when the Navy ships come to port off the coast of the sleepy Hawaiian fishing village his family calls home. Danger fills the air when the sailors crowd the town's streets, looking for booze and fun. Mokes should know. His father is the chief of police, in charge of keeping order on such disorderly nights. What will Mokes do then, when his friend Booley asks him to sneak out into the streets, into the middle of the danger, to help Booley settle a score? Should Mokes obey family orders? Or, should he honor his friend? This heart-racing novel takes us right into the middle of danger and deep into this thoughtful boy's mind.

A wonderful audio-version is available read by the author...who has quite a talent for the Hawaiian dialet.

If you enjoyed this book, you won't want to miss _Under the Blood Red Sun_ by the same author!

Summary: Feed Shark Bait to the sharks
Review: A sad commentary on the personal morality of adolescents. Possessing a strong understanding of good and evil, Mokes still makes the wrong choices. In my opinion, this book sends a terrible message to young people, as the negative consequences of the main character's actions are not fully played out. Well-written, but I take offense with the lack of character of Mokes.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An entertaining book for young readers about loyalty.
Review: Shark Bait

Shark Bait is a fiction book written by GrahamSalisbury that takes place near the ocean in Hawaii. This book has151 pages. The title, Shark Bait, is a metaphor used to describe Mokes because his father is a police officer. Graham Salisbury captures the lifestyles of the local children of Hawaii. This book can be enjoyable for people of all ages. The Pidgin dialect and Hawaiian words would be interesting for the people (mostly children) of Hawaii, yet this book might be difficult for people who live somewhere else to understand. Local children or teenagers can relate to Mokes's life. Shark Bait is mostly about the loyalty Mokes shares with his friends. END

Summary: Don't jugde a book by it's cover
Review: I mostly liked Shark Bait, but one thing i really didn't liked was the front cover, because the boy that represents Eric, the main character looks stupid. On the inside of the book Eric, acts though and that is what makes it interesting.on the outside of the book he looks like a weak anyway, it was good I highly recommended to teenagers. I'm sure they would like it.

Summary: Don't judge a book by the title.
Review: Shark Bait was my first book that I enjoyed reading. I enjoyed reading this book because it is about teens making decisions. Adults may not like it, but I think 95% of teenagers will like it. You should read it because it short chapters but it is cool, because the action is going upward, not backward. You should read this, it might help you solve your problems.
