Summary: Outstanding Tie-In Book!
Review: Last week I went to the bookstore to pick up my reserved copies of the Smallville books. I was so excited, I figured I would read #2 first considering #1 is a teleplay of the first episode, I must say, I was disappointed with the book. It is not like the series at all which is amazing. The book's plot was predictable, beautiful, bossy rich girl gets powers and tries to destroy everyone and everything in her path that she doesn't agree with. Of course in the end Clark comes to the rescue and no one is the wiser. All in all I would say the book was an ok read, but the show is much better. I will try to read the other Smallville novels though since it is one of my favourite shows.

Summary: Outstanding Tie-In Book!
Review: See No Evil is a fabulous tie-in novel to the hit television series Smallville. The authors do a really great job of capturing the way that Clark, Lana, Pete, Chloe, and the whole gang speaks. The plot is about a girl with the power of disappearing, and it doesn't overwhelm the characters or the dialogue like sometimes happens on the television show. Because of Clark's superpowers, I could actually see how he could step into the lead role of a school play, especially if it would impress Lana. The book also has an awesome scene between Clark and Lex Luthor, where Lex makes mean comments about his own bald head like Cyrano made about his nose. All in all, I rate this book five stars, and hope that the authors write a lot more!

Summary: Smallville see no evil
Review: The author of this book is cherie bennet. the book was published by Little Brown and Company in 2002 and the title is Smallville see no evil.

THE BOOK WITH A LITTLE SECRET

Dawn an actor in theatre trying to go broadway someday has a secret. She can be invisible. Clark gets caught in the mixup between Dawn and her boyfriend Mike, that has the potential to go to broadway as well. Dawn gets bored of mike and beats him up brutially( while she was invisible ). Mike is sent to the hospital and has a broken leg. Clark memorized the whole play. So when Mike broke his leg Clark was the first person on their list. Clark had a little problem with stage fright. The only reason that he was even there was that lana was on the stage crew and now he is the leading role in Cyrano he is Cyrano. Clarks friend Lex Luthor Donated a huge lighting board for Clark in Cyrano but he donates it to the school of course. When Clark found out he was mad because of his stage fright he couldn't do any thing he just really stuttered the lines out and barely got through the rehearsal. Clark had saved lex's life on many ocassions. Lex's favorite play was Cyrano so Lex gave him a few pointers on what he should be like. One day Clark was in his loft and Dawn hit a horse the horse didn't like that very much so it went tramping around and almost smashed Lana but Clark ran superspeed and saved her. That all ended out good.

Chloe the publisher of the torch (the school newspaper) finds out how weird it was that mikes knees buckled like he was hit. Clark thought it was weird too. they all find out about her and its only another addition to the wall of weird. I shouldn't really tell the rest in detail because i dont want to give away the ending but out of about 700 books that is one of my favorites.

THE BOOK WITH A LITTLE SECRET
See No Evil is a fabulous tie-in novel to the hit television series Smallville. The authors do a really great job of capturing the way that Clark, Lana, Pete, Chloe, and the whole group speaks. Dawn a really cocky person that wants to go to broadway and has the potential to do so has a secret, she can be invisible. Clark gets caught in the mixup between Dawn and her boyfriend Mike, that has the potential to go on Broadway as well, and it is not pretty. Dawn gets bored of mike and beats him up brutially I mean it had to hurt ( while she was invisible I might add ). Mike is sent to the hospital and has a broken leg. Clark got bored one night while he was at home after finishing his schoolwork and memorized the whole play in like one night (probably because of his superpowers). So when Clark found out that Mike broke his leg Clark was Volunteered by Pete and Chloe. Clark had a little problem with stage fright though and he forgot to mention it I guess and he got stuck with the job. So he went from flunky to Cyrano the most important part in the play. The only reason that he was even there was that lana was on the stage crew and now he is the leading role in Cyrano he is Cyrano. Clarks friend Lex Luthor Donated a huge lighting board for the school play Cyrano But still everyone knows that the only reason that lex donated the lighting board was because it was his favorite play and Clark was in it. When Clark found out he was disappointed because of his stage fright he couldn't do any thing he just really stuttered the lines out and barely got through the rehearsal He thought that Lex deserved better after donating the very expensive lighting board. Clark had saved lex's life on many occasions though so he didn't feel all that bad. Lex's favorite play was Cyrano so Lex gave him a few pointers on what he should be like and that helped him out a good bit. One day Clark was in his loft and Dawn hit a horse (again while she was invisible) the horse didn't like that very much so it went tramping around and almost smashed Lana but Clark ran superspeed and saved her. That all ended out in a good manner.
Chloe the publisher of the torch (the school newspaper) finds out how weird it was that mikes knees buckled like he was hit. Clark thought it was weird too. They all find out about her and its only another addition to the wall of weird which is all of the weird that happen in smallville just so you know there from the meteor shower that hi in Smallville when Clark was transferred from Krypton and to earth. I shouldn't really tell the rest in detail because i dont want to give away the ending but out of alot books that is one of my favorites.

Summary: See No Evil - Full of evil
Review: The plot of "See No Evil" is simple; a high school senior's vanity leads her to harm her friends and enemies. Smallville High senior, Dawn Mills, discovers a power to harm people through the use of the notorious Smallville meteor rocks. She uses a meteor rock to make herself invisible and uses this unique power to revel in lust and exact revenge. While invisible, she purposefully oogles teenaged boys' naked bodies, maliciously harms her boyfriend and tries to murder three other Smallville high school girls.
The star of the Smallville series, young Clark Kent, unwillingly agrees to participate in the school play production of Cyrano de Bergerac. His painful shyness is portrayed and in the process of helping his school mates, he learns more about himself and takes another step towards maturity.
However, Smallville See No Evil #2 is filled (and I do mean f-i-l-l-e-d) with deplorable profanity, suggestiveness, belittlement of authority, and over-the-edge violence. I rate this book Zero stars.

Summary: clark in a play?? wonders never cease
Review: when lana asks clark to fill in at the school play for a minor role, he jumps at the chance to be closer to lana. but as he gets
into the workings of the play, strange events start to happen.
accidents are happening to several people connected with the play
and it is being wondered if supernatural being have anything to do with the weird occurences. or is the culprit a lot closer to the play than anyone suspects? the plot was a little [weak] with
a predictable ending. i like this show a lot and i hope that the
future books that come out are a little better thought out...

Summary: Fantastic Tie-In for Young Adults
Review: When Lana Lang, Clark Kent's all-time love (even though she doesn't know it), asks him for help with the school play, he says yes in a heartbeat. Which is how he meets Dawn, a stuck-up, rich, phony, who has her heart set on attending Juilliard. Clark also meets Dawn's boyfriend, Mike, a fellow actor, who seems fed-up with his so-called loving girlfriend. So when a bunch of freak accidents keep happening to cast members of the school play, leaving Clark with the lead role, it appears that someone is taking this whole acting thing one step too far, and it's up to Clark, Pete, Lana, and Chloe to find out who it is, before someone ends up worse than hurt, and more like dead.

Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld did a fantastic job with SEE NO EVIL. The characters are written in such a fantastic way, that you can actually hear them saying their lines as you're reading. WARNING: This is a VERY short book, so if you're a fan of SMALLVILLE, I'd consider keeping a few more installments of this series at hand, as you will be craving more of Clark Kent and the gang when you're finished.
