Rating: Summary: One of my faves! Review: This book really started my love for the whole series! I had this book for about a year now and I still reread it time and time again. And every time I do it still holds a top position in my list of faves. Anyway the book revolves around a girl named Zoey who is strangely attracted to a boy named Lucas. The thing is that he (as in Lucas) is supposedly the murderer of her boyfriend Jakes brother Wade. Lucas has just come from Youth Authority paying for his crime. And the one person he thought about those two years was Zoey! So when he gets back sparks fly between him Jake which makes it hard for Zoey, because she has so many run-ins with Lucas she feels she's starting to care for him. But in the end she does come to a decision between the two. And personally I think she made the right choice! Buy the book because this review doesnt even BEGIN to describe how good the book is! ...

I FINISHED MOST OF THEM IN JUST 2 DAYS BECAUSE I COULDN'T STOP READING!!!!!!!!!! JAKE AND ZOEY ARE THE CUTEST COUPLE BUT I FEEL BAD FOR JAKE BECAUSE HIS BROTHER IS DEAD!!!! I RECOMEND THESE BOOKS TO EVERYONE BECAUSE THEY MAKE U WANT TO KEEP ON READING. ONE OF MY FRIENDS STARTED READING IT AND THEN I DID AND NOW WE ARE ALL READING THE BEST BOOKS IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! I THINK NUMBER 3 AND 5 WERE MY FAVORITES THOUGH!!!
Rating: Summary: Wow! Making Out Series ROCKS! Review: I love these books... and anyone who doesn't like them, well that's okay. Cuz this is definitely like a teenage romance and lots of people don't like romantic stories. I do think, the reviewer who said that Katherine Applegate makes Seuss look like Shakespeare is incorrect because these books are extremely well written, and though a little predictable, all around a great series with different twists on life, such as Ben's blindness, alcoholism, racial issues, and child molestation. I think if you forgot that the books are a little predictable, you would recognize the beauty in the stories. anyway about Zoey Fools Around Jake is going to be disappointed with Zoey when he finds out, even though I started reading this series on number 5 and i think that's probably my favorite just because... it was the first one I read. I don't think that the pictures need to be extremely accurate because I like to imagine the characters in my mind, but it's kinda weird that every Zoey looks different, and I like how KA blends all the character's problems into one book. I think Zoey can kinda be too sensitive, and instead of just saying "Lucas, we've..." just tell him NO! and i feel myself getting in touch with the characters. I think Claire is too manipulative, but I like her little sensitive moments and the way she's so snobby about her looks. AND DID ANYONE BESIDES ME NOTICE HOW UGLY SHE LOOKS ON FALLING FOR CLAIRE? i hope aaron leaves, kate stays, and i LOVE NINA AND BENJAMIN. those 2 are by far my favorite, except when Bejamin was depressed, and I liked Christopher when he was being sweet to Zoey. Oh yeah... and Lara. Strangely, I think she's got a good side that she can't show because of alcohol. I like Lucas in the 1st book but he's just sorta weird and pressuring Zoey. Jake's okay after he gets sober and I love Louise Kronenberger after she goes to AA i think she's got a lot of guts to tell her story. MAKING OUT *BOOKS* rules!!!
Rating: Summary: Gossip Review: If you like gossip then this is the book to read, you get a great veiw from all the charactors and the plot is just excellent. You feel yourself siding with certain people than half way throuhg you decide there evil from some gossip you've heard about them, is just a must read.
Rating: Summary: Zoey Fools Around Review: As this is the first book in the series, I was very impressed with it. It seems to represent how teenagers think, which I love. Not many books can do this (I've gone through them all - Sweet Dreams, Sweet Valley etc). The friendships in this book are realistic and I must admit Benjamin and Nina are by far my favourite characters. Zoey needs to loosen up a little and Claire needs to sit down and look at her life very close. Brilliant though.
Rating: Summary: Crazy for theses books Review: I used to be the kind of kid who read books evey now and then. But then I started reading Ms Applegate's Animorph series and I really enjoyed reading but when I began reading the Making Out books I couldn't stop! I finised the first book in 2 days .I was so into it.At first my mom liked to see me reading but after awhile she missed me hanging with her.I was always in my room reading this book.I liked all the characters . I enjoyed reading about Aisha and Christopher and how everyone expected for them to be together because of their race.I thought that was a very interesting topic to be exposed to. I must admit that I don't really like Zoey's character. She seems to give in to temptation too easily. This book had a great plot.I also think it would be tight show. ( but people may try to compare it those teen dramas like Dawson's Creek even though these books were out before those shows) I really think those who didn't read any books from this series should. You'll be glad you did.I know I was!
Rating: Summary: I loved it!! Review: I'm on number 20 in the making out series and I absolutely love it. Most of the time, I can hardly put them down. I love reading about Zoey, Lucas, Benjamin, Nina, Aisha, Christopher, Jake, Kate, Lara, Claire, and Aaron... and all of the drama that comes along with them! There are parts where you laugh, where you cry, and where you just wanna jump in the book and set somebody straight! I've got three of my friends reading the series. :) I'd definetely recommend these to anybody.
Rating: Summary: Impressive Review: I was really impressed with this book. I stumbled across this title, and decided to buy it. I am looking forward to reading book 2.
Rating: Summary: great book Review: "Zoey Fools Around" is about a girl named Zoey who falls for Lucas Cabral. The thing is, everybody on Catham Island (where Zoey lives) hates Lucas because he drunk and drove, which resulted in Wade McRoyan's death. Zoey's boyfriend, Jake, is Wade's younger brother, and if he finds out that Zoey's fooling around with Lucas, he won't be angry. He'll be furious . . .
