Summary: This is a real page-turner.
Review: I really loved this novel. It's a very dynamic novel, full of surprises. This novel goes through the emotions of Zoe and her journal and how she can't trust her parents or her counselor. Zoe is accused of murdering her best friend. When you finally learn the truth, it isn't a disappointment, like some novels. The conclusion will leave you satisfied. This novel is a real page-turner; you are certain to read it in a few days. I recommend this novel to everyone, students and parents alike.

Summary: Grabs you from the moment you see the cover.
Review: I was given this book for Christmas. I didn't expect it to be any good, but I was wrong. From the very first page, questions rose from my mind. But the most prominant question was - WHY didn't I read it sooner?
This is the story about a group of friends torn apart by one tragic night of poor decisions and a life time of anyting but happy endings.
Aimee was the victim of sexual child abuse.
Zoe was the victim of a friendship that couldn't win.
While reading, you're bound to form questions in your mind. Write them down, as see just how quickly they're answered. I garuntee it'll be quickly.
MaryBeth Miller has a style of writing I've been yearning for in the mix of boring young adult dramas. Her unique voice touches, GRABS you and rips you in to the world of Zoe.
One thing is for sure.
You won't forget Zoe or Aimee after you read.

Summary: A unique and interperative way of life is portrayed here
Review: In this very "unusual" yet exciting style of writing, Mary Beth Miller draws her readers quickly into her book AIMEE. The techinique of flash backs and memories flooding through the main characters mind make for an all together wondeful plot. Readers will share some of the most intimate and personal thoughts of a teenager as she deals with friends, family, triumph, love, loss, heartbreak, and death.

I enjoyed this exteremly deep and meaningful plot. Although it was difficult at first to keep track of the story due to all the time changes, (presnt to past, constantly switching) it wasn't long before until I found myself yearing for more. Chard, Kyle, Kates, Jason, and Amiee soon enough become more like your own friends that strangers. They find a place inside your heart where I am sure they will stay for a time to come.

Overall a really well written book that is worth reading. I am looking forward to reading more books From Miller in the future.

Summary: Aimee
Review: The book Aimee is a really good book. It is about a girl, Zoe, who's best friend committed suicide and Zoe is to blame. Through out the story zoe is writing in a journal her new therapist gave her to write in. She talks about her friend she had before her best friend committed suicide. Her 3 friends, Chard, Kates, Kyle, are party teenagers. A lot of the book is about memories she had with her old friends. Toward the end of the book Zoe talks about how Chard visits her and they become friends. Science Zoe was blamed for her friends suicide she moved to a new school and at her new one the word gets and she is the outcast, loser, stargirl. Zoe has one friend though, who she is not very fond of. Another problem Zoe has is that she has a lot of problems with her parents. Her dad moved out and her mom is disappointed in her. Aimee is a great book and everyone would love this book. It has deep feelings and heart. It's a must to anyone who had a little trouble in life.

Summary: Aimee by Mary Beth Miller
Review: This book is a great book. while it has coarse language throughout, i found it quite interseting. The way Mary Beth Miller didn't tell who the main character is until near the end added suspense. This book is all about finding yourself after losing your best friend to suicide. Its about believing in yourself and holding on to the people you love. I recommend this book to all, ya and a alike.

Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK!
Review: This book related personally to me. I felt everything Zoe felt through the whole book. To know that other people in the world feel the same way I do about life is refreshing and helpful. Now I know that it is okay to feel depressed and sucicidal...and that I can get through it. Zoe's relationship with her parents and her counseler reflect how many teenagers today feel but are too afraid to cope with. Now I feel that I can cope with these problems thanks to this book. Aimee will stay with me forever.

Summary: Finally, A Novel That Seems Non- fiction
Review: This engrossing novel accurately portrays the dynamics of teenage life. The plot is horrific yet spellbinding; it delves into the true feelings of Zoe. Ms. Miller gives the characters depth and meaning; she does not take the traditionally shallow rode in describing adolescents. Zoe has feelings some through the story with electrifying clarity; you feel as if you know her personally. So involved into the story you will no doubt become, that you will be mourning for Zoe in this stories climatic end.

Summary: Bored
Review: This novel just didn't do it for me. The true climax wasn't reached until the end of the novel. The novel lacked plot action yet the story had a good bit of depth to it. I personally didn't like it but, others might.

Summary: Good but a bit disturbing...
Review: This WAS a good book. But it literally scared the crap out of me. I guess it was my first book with a really serious storyline as this. I liked it but it like scared me days after i read it. Anyway it was really good.
