Rating: Summary: Good and sad Review:
Teenage Zoe (who remains unnamed for a large percentage of the book) is accused of helping her best friend, Aimee, commit suicide. Zoe's narrative goes over what happened before Aimee's suicide, what is happening to her then and then eventually what actually happened that night.
I really liked how Zoe's feelings and thoughts were portrayed, and how well she explains her experiences with her workaholic mother and her friends.
This book is very sad and interesting. A good read.

Rating: Summary: It Should be a Movie Review: A Review by TiffanyBest Friends with Aimee, Zoë did everything that they every wanted to do. They had the cutest boys in the world. The ones that are caring and won't go tell his best friend everything that they did the night before. But one night everyone's life comes to complete stop. Zoë ends up with charges against her and Aimee is dead by her own hand. After everything went wrong Zoë has been herself since. Her family life is torn apart and the one person she ever loved she can't even see him. I like how this book keeps going back and forth to the past and present. It keeps me reading. It leads up to what she really has now. Her life is a mess. At least her love Chard is still by her side. And that nothing can put them in the way of seeing each other. I learned that every life is precious. That one fatal move can hurt some ones life forever. Mary Beth Miller is one of the best authors. Every page leaves you in a wondering mind. Like what is going to happen on the next page. For a while there I thought it was based on a true story. I think that it should be a movie. I would recommend this to anyone. All ages should read this book in there life. It might make a big difference.
Rating: Summary: Teen Angst To The Max Review: Aimee is a stunning look at teen angst and the real problems that face young adults even as they are trivialized by their parents. The narrator's voice is strong and frighteningly real. One can't help but feel that the author must have firsthand experience of what it's like to be the survivor of a best friend's suicide. The descriptions and scene settings are vivid and true. Bravo to Mary Beth Miller for giving us teen characters that are so purely portrayed.
Rating: Summary: The Intense Terrifying Thoughts,,,Death Review: AIMEE was an astonishing piece written by Mary Beth Miller. It keeps you in suspense. It was a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the very last. This book had five main characters. They are Chard, Aimee, Kates, Kyle and the narrator, whose name you'll learn later in the book. This book starts with the introduction of each family of each character. They really get into detail. There are so many parts to this book and each one is really descriptive in it's own way. They're unique. You have to use your imagination. AIMEE is an inspirational story of how you can cope with certain situations; it teaches of how to deal with life. This book is probably the most intense, vivacious book one can read. It's great for teenagers. It's also good for the early twenty-year-olds. AIMEE is definitely a book I'll read to my teens. I like this book a lot. It's very fantastic with a magical touch.
Rating: Summary: Review Review: Aimee was an excellent book. Although it starts out very slow and with minimal information about the death of Aimee, it gives tons of information about the main character's conflicting emotions. The main character feels like through losing Aimee she has lost apart of herself which is why throughout the whole book she is never once referred to by name until at the very end. The question remains throughout most of the novel:What happened to Aimee, and whose fault was it? Miller's ending is truly heartfelt and worth reading the whole book to achieve. To keep your attention Miller casually throws in hints as to what has happened to Aimee by slowly unraveling the truth about Aimee's demise. Love is also thrown in though the main character's relationship with Chard. A great read if you are looking for something long, yet easy to read. It would make a great Lifetime movie.
Rating: Summary: =( Review: Aimee was the deeply troubling story of a girls attempt to cope with her best friends suicide, while she is being accused of assisting. Beautifully written, the author reveals what happend that night in little bits throughout the story. Although a wonderfull work of literature, its deeply troubling.
Rating: Summary: deeply moved... Review: I checked this book out at the public library three days ago and I just finished it. Aimee and I have a lot in common...I too am a suicidal depressed teen. I have sent out hints but no one would pick them up or listen but of course, I was always too scared to go through my "plan". The plan that Aimee had. I was deeply moved by this story because it hit close to home for me. I have to admit, it made me even more scared of commiting suicide so I dont see that running through my mind anymore. I recomend this book to everyone. Depressed teens like me who can relate in their own ways to Aimee. And to adults so they will realize that if they just listen, things would be different.
Rating: Summary: Best Book Written In A Long TIme Review: I just recently started reading this book but hardly ever want to put it down. I carry it around from class to class picking it up in my free time! THis book is so captivating and is dealing with subjects taht are relevant to what is happening the world. I really reccomand you reading this book!
Rating: Summary: Reaction to Aimee Review: I picked up Aimee wondering how good a book it was actually going to be. This book went above and beyond what I expected. The story itself had me tearing up. I could not imagine being torn away from my friends and uprooted to another city or being ignored by my family I was sucked into the story from begining to end. The emotions Zoe had kept locked inside come out in a moving way. Zoe was reminded of past memories and experiences in simple daily activities. Using these past memories, Zoe told her story through her journal. I was impressed with Zoe's courage and sarcasim. I was left with a sence of gratitude for my loving family and supportive friends.
