Summary: This book is by a very good author! It is also thrilling!
Review: This book is the kind of book you can never put down! I have read almost every single book Caroline B. Cooney has written and most, not all, of her books are great. I have to admit, though, that some of her books are boring at times, but they get better as you go on. The book WANTED was not very exciting until the last 2 or 3 chapters. The book EMERGENCY ROOM is a very exciting book all the way through. The only problem with that book is you have to remember a lot of events at once or you will get lost. My favorite book is DRIVERS ED. I liked this book because it was very exciting to read! I think that Caroline B. Cooney is the best author that lived. (thats next to Christopher Pike)

Summary: Keeps you suspended all through the book!!
Review: This book has an excellent plot with a surprise ending. It leads you in one direction and flings you to another. The Terrorist was about an average, 11-year old boy named Billy and his 16-year old sister, Laura. Billy is killed by a packaged bomb. A terrorist claims one of his friends dropped the package. Now Laura is looking for revenge. While hunting down the terrorist, Laura's life is turned upside down and she loses many of her friends. Now it's YOUR turn to find out who killed Billy Williams.

Review: This was another great book by Caroline B Cooney. Good Lord does she know how to write! I couldn't put it down. It was sooooo suspensful! I think this a great book to read if you are interested in world affairs. Even if you're not you should still read it. I think that the ending is a surprise. I never suspected what would happen. My opinions kept changing. Way to go Cooney!!!!!!!!

Summary: This book was not the bomb
Review: I never liked any of her work. I started reading "The Face On the Milkcarton" and was really disqusted at it. Then I thought I should try reading another one of her books. mistake!!! This book is not thought out very well. The main charactor is as lightheaded as a balloon. And to top it all of the ending is beyond beleivable!

Summary: Another great book by Caroline B. Cooney!
Review: Even though I'm not even half way through this book, I can tell that it will be great. It is about Laura and her American family who move to London because of her father's job. When Laura's little brother, Billy, is handed a package bomb and is killed Laura is determined to find his killer and to answer the questions of "Why"? Why did they chose Billy? What did he do? Did he hear something he wasn't suppose to? I could tell from the breif introduction that this would be a good book.

Summary: A bombing of mystery that never ends.
Review: I read The Terrorist by the best-selling author, Caroline B. Cooney, who may best be known for her book, The Face on the Milk Carton . Mrs. Cooney writes many heart gripping stories . The story is told by Laura Williams who has just moved from Massachusetts in the United States of America to London, England. She and her family are just beginning to adjust to the customs of their new home. Did I mention that Laura has a brother named Billy? Although they are very close, they have their differences . For example, Billy is interested in collecting fancy toilet paper. He also likes to collect American treats and show them off at his culturally mixed school. The big and important difference between the siblings is the way they get to the London International Academy each day. Laura catches the bus with her friends and Billy takes the Underground, (Subway) with two of his friends . One day, while Billy steps from the train, his friends run ahead. Someone then hands him a package saying that his friends had dropped it. Billy quickly realizing that it is a bomb, wraps himself around the package and it explodes . Killed instantly, Billy saved many lives. At home Laura learns that her brother has been killed by a bomb. She 3flips2 out and thinks that everyone is a suspect in the killing, especially her friends . In actuality these friends are worried about her . Many accusations are made and none are proven . To find out who did it you1ll have to read The Terrorist . This two-hundred page book is not only very interesting, but it is also different from other books because the most exciting incident happens in the first twenty pages . The crisis and exciting parts are usually in the middle of the book. The reader wonders if each of the suspects is guilty and how he/she could be tied into the plot. For example, a friend of Laura is accused, and because he is from Israel, the reader thinks that he might be the killer. What is also interesting was that he wasn1t a legal citizen of England, but it turns out that he isn1t guilty. I would suggest this book for fifth graders to college. The Terrorist is too difficult for third graders because they wouldn1t get the complicated plot. For adults I do not recommend it because it is short and the words are easy. To tell the truth I wouldn1t be surprised if the plot were to happen in reality because recently there have been bomb scares and racial prejudice. Hopefully, that is the author1s message - be careful in the ever changing world. Another message is that true friends comfort and help till the very end, and most importantly, your siblings are very important to you, your family, and should be treated like your best friend. The author also wanted to teach people that the British actually have different words for things. She threw in a couple words like, 3Ta, luv2 meaning thank you .

Summary: The book The Terrorist is a very well written book.
Review: Amazon: I read the book The Terrorist by Caroline B. Cooney. When I read the summary on the inside of the front cover I thought to myself that this book was going to be boring, but when I started the book, to my surprise, I found it to be quite interesting A few pages into the book the action picked right up. Pretty soon I was hooked and couldn't put it down. Caroline Cooney wrote this story in a brilliant way. She kept the reader in suspense from the beginning to the end and used foreshadowing in the book well without giving too much information or too little. The story is about a family dealing with the loss of their son, and brother, to a terrorist bombing in a London subway station. The topic of a terrorist bombing taking place is a real life situation in today's world which makes the reader able to relate the story to his own personal feelings of sadness, anger, or fear . The fact that the story takes place in a similar environment to the United States makes it easier for the reader to identify with the book. The way Caroline Cooney creates her characters to be average people with realistic emotions makes the book believable. Long descriptive sentences about the characters' behaviors make them seem real; however, like real people, these characters reveal hidden traits and facts that will surprise the reader. Along with surprise in the characters there are also many twists in the plot. Just when the reader thinks he can predict what is going to happen the author throws in a wild twist that makes the reader have to think things through again. I think that this book was written for teenagers because the main characters are teenagers and it describes the world that teens must grow up in. However, I think many adults would also enjoy this book due to the quality of the writing and the timely topic. Parents of teenagers might be especially interested because of the insights this book gives into teenagers' thoughts and emotions. I personally am looking forward to reading another book by this author.
