Summary: The Terrorist was a great book!!!
Review: The Terrorist was filled with suprises and excitement throughout the whole story. I was shocked that Laura gave Jehran Billy's passport to America. It was a great book that had great character development. I thought the way Billy died was proper for the story and not too dramatic. They didn't talk about the explosion do much. The story was filled with great detail, also. It had an exciting moment on almost every single page. Caroline B. Cooney knows how to put the words so you can visulize the setting and characters. It almost seems like you're there in London with Laura at the LIA, or London Internation Acadamy. Overall, it was a terrific book.

Summary: The first half was confusing
Review: The Terrorist was a pretty good book. The first half, however, was kind of confusing. There were too many characters to remember. Once they were down, I could easily finish.

Summary: The Terrorist
Review: This book was better than I was expecting. The plot was decent, but rather predictable. Unfortunately, the main character, Laura Williams, was not exactly likable--ignorant, spoiled, and shallow. The other characters were rather sketchy but had the beginnings of being interesting. An international setting helped to enhance the book.

Summary: A very suspenseful murder mystery.
Review: Laura Williams, a junior at London International Academy, engages in a desperate search for the person(s) who placed a package in her little brother Billy's, killing him. Her search draws to a close as the terrorist is revealed as an unlikely suspect. A very suspenseful murder mystery. An exciting read. Full of new political realizations with a lesson to be learned by all.

Summary: An Interesting book...
Review: I thought this book was very interesting. It kept me hooked on the book because I wanted to know what happens next.

'The Terrorist' written by Caroline B. Cooney is written very good. It has alot of details and its really interesting.

The story is simple and has alot of suspence and mystery.

It's about an average American boy, Billy, living in London. Someone picked Billy as their target of death. Billy receives a package in the streets of London and finds out it was a bomb.
Why would someone want to kill a young boy?

Laura is 16 years of age and is Billy's sister. She was the person who was hurt the most from this tragedy. Not only that, but her parents suffer alot. Laura thought her brother was annoying at times, but it was still her brother and she loved him.

Laura wants to find out who killed Billy and she will do anything to accomplish it. She will trust no one. Instead of continuing her everyday life, she searches for clues to track down Billy's killer, the terrorist(s). It seems she will not stop until she finds who the killer is and why that person or persons killed an innocent boy.

Who can the killer(s) be? Is it her friends from L.I.A (London International Academy)? Is it a stranger who just wants to kill a boy?

You'll have to read it to find out.

I didn't find the ending as good as I thought it would be. Everything in the book is written very good except the ending. I feel some people will feel a little bit dissapointed with the ending.

Another thing I did not like about the book was that it was based too much on teens. That was a part that made the book less realistic. It would of been much better if the book was written more in an adult way than a teen way. But Caroline B. Cooney must of done this so alot of teens would read this book.

Summary: Wow What a Good Book
Review: I read this book a few years ago, and afterwards it went on my bookshelf. Being in highschool now my room had grown into a mess of books, papers, and other miscellaneous objects over the years. In the process of cleaning it, i came across this book. I decided to read it again. I enjoyed the book even more now! The foreshadowing in it is easier to pick up at this age. It's slighty bizarre that in this book a bombing has taken place and the protagonist suspects someone from an Islamic Middle-Eastern country. So many of the points stated in the book foreshadowed September 11th. Despite the eeriness of it, The Terrorist is a decent, enticing, quick read.
