Summary: Who Is The Terrorist
Review: Laura Williams and her American family have had difficulty adjusting to the life in London England. Laura and her brother Billy attend L.A.I. an international school with kids of all different kinds of races. The students at this school realize the hatred around the world except Laura she thinks everybody is good. Laura doesn't hate anybody until her brother Billy is handed a package from a stranger who said " Your friend dropped this" in the train station on the way to school. Billy has always thought about terrorist and when his family and him were at the airport and they cant leave luggage to long or it will be suspicious but by the time he realized this it was to late. He shielded the people around him from the bomb but he was dead. All the sudden Laura realizes all the hatred and terrorism around her. Laura is out to find her brothers murderer no matter what.
This book is a four star book. The part I liked the most was it starts out with action in the first chapter and you don't have to wait until the third or fourth chapter for action. Also this author really has a great detail and it helps you visualize what she is saying. This book also relates to what is going on in the world at this time. It gives you a feeling of what the families attacked by terrorist might go through, and how things might turn out. It is very action packed with excitement in every page.

Summary: Another great book from Caroline B. Cooney!
Review: This is a powerful, sad, and sometimes funny book, all in one. Laura Williams and her family have moved to London where everything is different. You can't buy the same candy as in the U.S., you take public transportation to school, and once you get there, you're with children from all over the world. Some of these children are there because their parents supported the wrong political leader and would be killed if they didn't leave their country. One regular morning, Laura's little brother, Billy, takes the subway to school, as usual. A man hands him a package and tells him, "Your friend dropped this." Billy takes the package and thanks the kind stranger. Then, all of a sudden, he remembers then signs reading Do Not Leave Luggage Unattended. He remembers the bomb drills at school. Then there is an explosion from the package and Billy is dead.
When Laura finds out what happens to Billy, she vows to find his killer. She is suspicious of everyone around her -- even her friends at school. She will not stop until the murderer is punished.
Caroline B. Cooney's writing style of letting you inside the characters' funny and also sad thoughts really completes this book. This is a must-read for anyone.

Review: Laura Williams is a high school junior. Her family moved to London, England five months ago. Her life takes a dramatic turn when her younger brother Billy is killed by a package bomb. Laura thinks everyone is a suspect, even her friends from school. She is determined not to let the killer(s) go unpunished.
Jehran, a friend of Laura's, asks her for something of Billy's and the story takes yet another mysterious turn.
I picked up this book because at the time, the World Trade Center bombing was fresh in my mind and terrorism was the headline in every newscast. The title made me think the book was about a life of a terrorist. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was about the love a sister has for her brother.
I liked how the author used Laura to tell you about Billy. It was conversational...like me talking about my brothers. The reader learns what kind of person Billy was by Laura's descriptions of her brother's peculiar activities.
The Terrorist is another suspenseful thriller by Cooney. Her series, Face on a Milk Carton, is just as unpredictable and a must read. I was lucky enough to meet the author, one of my favorites, when she visited \our town library.By: Elyse

Summary: The Search of Revenge
Review: Billy, a 10 year old boy that used to live in Massachusetts now living in London, dies from a bomb handed to him by an unkown terrorist. His parents and his older teenage sister, Laura are shocked by this news. Afterward, Laura starts stalking people(mostly from her highschool), trying to find out who killed her inocent baby brother. Every body sugests that theymove back to the United States where they are safe, but the family wants to be as close to Billy as possible. All the kids at school think Laura is a luatic, but every time, she feels that she's getting closer and closer to figuring out the unsolved case. Thruoghout the book, you think you know who it is, but your wrong. I would recomend this book for any body who likes, adventure, some action,and a bunch of mystery and drama. Have fun reading it!:)

Summary: UGH...Disgusting
Review: All I need to say about this book is that it is gross and the wrong persective of Muslims around the world! Well, DUH... there are good and bad people everywhere and this book makes it look like ALL Muslims are bad -- WRONG -- This book is stupid, it shows how ignorant Caroline B. Cooney is. I hate this book and I dont understand how people can read it and STILL like and BELIEVE it! Dont even bother to read this book!

Review: This book isnt even interesting. I got half way through the book and through it down. I would rather read the encyclopedia then this book!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont even think about reading this book!!!!!!!!!! Caroline B Cooney is a good author but not on this one. So if you see it dont even bother picking it up.

Summary: One Word...Great!
Review: I didn't know what to expect when I picked this up from the library, but what I found was a surprisingly good story about a girl trying to solve the mystery of her younger brother's murder. The death changes her family's life drastically, and Laura warily tries to find a friend to comfort her as she weeds through suspects and tries to pull her life back together. I found the end unsatisfying, but the story is exciting and may even bring you to tears.

Review: On his way to school one day, 11-year-old Billy Williams is handed his death in the subway--a bomb concealed in a package. Following his death, his family (Americans living in London, England)--as well as the city--are on guard and afraid. His 16-year-old sister, Laura Williams, who becomes the main character of the book, obsesses over this terrorist act, thinking: "What if Billy's killer was somebody at school? Somebody right here at L.I.A. [London International Academy]?" And so begins her investigation into her brother's tragic death. However, the book kind of detours from her quest about halfway through, when one of Laura's Moslem girl friends begs her to help her run away from her strict family. Yet "The Terrorist" is just as gripping and realistic as some of Cooney's other books, like her Janie series (which I really liked). It has a great deal of impact on everyone since it focuses on global terrorism, a topic that has been rampant in the news for a long time. But aside from the serious part of the story, "The Terrorist" is a good intro to English culture--as well as other cultures--as seen through the eyes of an American family. It's a very insightful and fast-paced book (I read it in one day), though the bad guy is kind of obvious. Recommended to Cooney fans.

Review: I think that The Terrorist is great book.If any one asked me to recomend a book It would be The Terrorist or any of Caroline Cooney's books.The Terrorist is a spine chilling book it also keeps you on the edge of your seatI have read alot of Caroline's books and this is my favorit by far.It is about a boy who was involved in a terrorist act but he did not help the terrorist he was the one who died.This book shows how a family copes with the death of a child.
