Summary: Interesting
Review: The book consists of several short stories about kids going away from home for the first time. Some of the stories are interesting. One is about a girl who was sent to Puerto Rico to live with her grandparents for the summer. Her experiences give insight to the Puerto Rican culture. An example is how her father drove spirits out of people. With an exception of one or two, the other short stories lack quality.

Summary: Good for the Viewer
Review: The book Leaving Home by Hazel Rochman was one of the best books that I have ever read. It talks about different kind of kids in there lives that for some reason they decided to leave home for there own reasons. This book has made me seen some things that us as teenagers do and that we do not see the consequences that well result we just do it. I think that this book is good for they young viewers and that they should read it.

Summary: stories for some people
Review: The Book _Leaving Home_ is a book of short stories that some people can and do relate to. Personally I like stories that i can relate to with my personal life. The sum of the short stories that I have read have been mostly set when I wasn't even born yet. On the other hand the stories are fun to read about other people's experiences and becuase they seem to be true life stories it is interesting to see anothers person perspective on a different situation. In a poem writen in the book the poeple wanted to get out of the town they lived in, i saw that as breaking free from life and i thought that was a good choice to put in the book titled Leaving Home.

Summary: Another Good Review
Review: The book _Leaving Home_ is a good book; many people who are discouraged about reading in my opinion would enjoy this book. The main reasons why this book is so good is the book _Leaving Home_ is made up of many short stories, so that if you are a person who picks up a book, and judges it by the cover, yes it may looks to be thick, however every ten pages it's a new short story. Thus concluding that if people start reading a chapter, and decide they do not like the story, they can easily skip to the next chapter with out worrying, about now not know what is going on in the story. The next best thing about this book would be the book is easy to understand, but if you want to find great meaning there are many possibilities. Many of the short stories in the book have very interesting meaning, as you read them from what I have found, usually you can relate, someone in your life who you know is either going through the same thing, or has gone through the same as the characters in the short stories.

Summary: Amazing stories
Review: The stories that i read were very interesting. I could relate to some of the stores. This book talks about some real live stories that really occure in life. That's why i like the book, because when you are in a situation you think you are the only one, but when you read about other people with the same problems you feel a connection and a feel of relief. It was sad to her about some stories because some peoeple had difficult problem and it makes you appreciate your life and the things you have. This book is a good book to read for fun or if you have any problems, because you can learn off this book or can relate to the book and that may give some kind of relief like me.

Summary: Leaving Home
Review: The story was real interesting. It remind me of how alot of children grow up and want to move out of their parents home, make their lives better than what their parents lives were. To read that story made me realize how our parents feel when we want to leave and become adults. When they know were not ready for that big move.
Every story was about leaving home and becoming a better person or going on trips to meet someone.Thats what life is all about, leaving home and going into the real world to meet people and to see what the real world islike when your not under that protection of your parents or guardians.

Summary: A good pick as a reading book for a freshman
Review: This book consists of 15 carefully chosen short
stories about people who had to (for some reason)
leave home and how they deal with it. Hazel Rochman
and Darlene Z.McCampbell have done a nice job to
gather this stories form 15 famous authors including
Amy Tan, Tim O'Brien and Toni Morrison( a nobel
prise winner and a Princeton University professor).
It's an easy read and you won't be sorry of reading
it.
