Rating: Summary: The Best! Review: When I read this book I loved it. I have no clue why. It was a sweet story about dating. You should read this book if you're into boys. You might even learn something new.
Rating: Summary: A very sweet, funny book Review: This is a wonderful book, filled with the delightful innocence of first love in the 1950's. Jane wants desperately to meet a boy--a nice boy--an older boy... and in walks Stan! He's new in town but he's already popular, and he wants to date Jane, which she thinks is almost too good to be true. By the time they're "going steady", Jane has learned a lot about having fun and about the joy of just being herself.
Rating: Summary: It's an okay book Review: It was kind of old fashioned and got very boring in many parts but it had a good plot and was a very sweet story.
Rating: Summary: This book is pretty good! Review: I thought this was a very sweet book. The story and idea behind it was cool, and was pretty much true to life. It was a down to earth story and was a quick and easy read. I recommend it to anyone!

Rating: Summary: Almost all Teenage Girls can relate to this book. Review: Fifteen By Beverly Clearly is a book almost all teen girls can relate to. This book can solve almost all of your problems. Fifteen is about a girl named Jane and all the obstacles that are blocking what she really wants. Jane is fifteen years old and has never been on a date, but she hopes to go on one soon. One day the cutest and most popular guy in school, Stan, asks her out. Her answer is yes. There are a few problems though; her worst enemy Marcy likes Stan. Her parents are the old-fashioned type. They don't want her going out with Stan. She goes on a few dates and on every one she runs into a problem. The book was fabulous except Beverly wasn't very descriptive. For example "A girl's voice interrupted Jane's day dream and she looked up and saw Marcy Stokes waving at her in a green convertible". She never described what Marcy looked like. " The green convertible" that's it. She could have elaborated more. I recommend this book to about all teenage girls, from 12-16; however for older teenagers it might be a little too easy. The book is one of kind. It is unbelievably realistic and that is very uncommon for books. If you like to read realistic books read Fifteen By Beverly Clearly.
Rating: Summary: a very girly story Review: First off, let me tell you that I really liked this book. It was a little old fashion because it was writen in the 1950's, but it still had the same meaning.
Anyway, this book is about a girl, Jane, and her wanting to meet a boy very much. She keeps telling herself that she will meet this hansome boy thats around 16 and, they will fall madly in love. Well, it does happen for her, but just not in that order. She meets a boy while baby-siting for a little girl. They start to go out, but then he doean't ask her to the first high school dance. She is very hurt, but then he tells her its just one big mistake. Its really just about a girl going through her teenage years.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Great work from Beverly Cleary!!! Two thumbs up!! Read this book!!!
Rating: Summary: excellent! Review: This book is one of my favorite books in the whole world! The plot, story, and characters are great even though this book was written a long time ago! So what are you doing reading mine and everyone else's reviews when you could be ordering and enjoying this great book? Hurry up and buy this book NOW before anyone else buys it and all the great deals are gone!!!
Rating: Summary: Loved It Review: I read this book in the 70's. I loved reading young adult fiction set in the 50's and 60's - life seemed a lot simpler and more innocent then. Jane is the heroine of "Fifteen" - and most young girls entering adolescence would be able to relate to her fears, embarrassments (such as the cat seemingly deliberately licking his bottom in front of company), and her hopes of requited teen-age love, or at least "going steady". To me, a realistic look at one ordinary girl's summer experience.
Rating: Summary: Fifteen will make you think! Review: In Fifteen, by Beverly Cleary, Jane is a nobody. But things soon turn around when Stan, one of the most popular boys in school decides he likes Jane Purdy. Jane Purdy is soooo happy, and before you know it, they're going steady! This book takes place in the 1950s, and it could teach you a lot of things! It is a lot different than any book I've read. But, it is different in a good way. This book is for mostly girls 12 years or older. I would reccomend it to all of my friends! -Cait
