Summary: Another great book from my FAVORITE author
Review: The soulmate principle is far from old... it will never get old. In each of her books L.J. Smith puts it to use in a different way L.J. Smith offers strong female characters, intriguing plotlines, action, and romance. Which would all amount to nothing if it weren't for the fact that she's A GREAT WRITER. And I for one, not only loved every one of her books that I've read (almost all of them) but I can't wait for Strange Fate to come out. END

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of the best books I've ever read
Review: Although i didn't think this was L.J.Smith's greatest book it was still very good. i really enjoyed the shapeshifter thing. Before we knew hardly anything about shapshifters, but now we have a whole history. Also, to all those people who think the soulmate principle is getting old-it's what the Night World books r all about. I think it's a wonderfully romantic idea kinda like love at first sight. Another thing-who doesn't like reading about beautiful people-would you rather read about ugly people-i wouldn't. In Black Dawn Maggie wasn't all that beautiful in fact she was very ordinary. It's how their soulmates sees them. Delos thought Maggie was the most beautiful girl on the face of the Earth, when you're in love, the person you're in love with always seems beautiful to you. i think that's what Smith is trying to show sometimes. Also, the werewolves have been made out to be pretty stupid, but in Soulmate Lupe was very intelligent. i liked her a lot. i hope Smith writes a book about werewolves that are smart like Lupe. Also, the thing about purple eyes being very rare in real life. The characters in these books with purple eyes are witches and how many witches do you know in real life? i would like to see more about previous characters in future books. She could have all the pairs of soulmates get together to fight the final battle or something. I can't wait for Strang Fate!

Summary: I loved this book!!!!!
Review: I am sorry those of you who did not like this book even bought it. This is one of the first books I read in this series. (I just started reading this book after i read the Forbidden Game trilogy) L. J. Smith has done a beautiful job on this book. I love the theory of the soulmate principle. I have read every book in this series about 4 times already, and each one just makes me like her books even more. When the book opened, I thought, WOW! this is going to be a great book. I got hooked on this book by the great action sequences, the flawless descriptions, and the characters. I want to see these characters in more of her books, even if they're barely mentioned, like in Soulmates, where Thierry had the other soulmates together for their meeting. L.J. Smith is a genious at writing the NW series and I hope she keeps writing!

Summary: RE: Mesmerizing, tough, and a lot of fun to read
Review: Ok, hear me out...the NW series is cool, i love romancs and stuff, but i'd like to comment on how you said we don't get sick of people getting killed...well it is due to the fact that the story does not revolve around killing people whereas Smith's books rovolve around the soulmate principle and that is pretty much the climax of her stories...in other books their premise is not based on killing people...why not try reading a PIKE book for example..try the last vampire..lots of killing...anyhow i admire you're devotion to your author, i myself would defend my fave author aswell and that is all i am doing...no offense meant, i hope you understand...thanks

Summary: Mesmerizing, tough, and a lot of fun to read
Review: I liked Keller's opinion of Iliana. I liked it because she unlike everyone else didn't worship her because she was the witchchild and the wild power. She made Ilaina earn Keller's respect. By the way. Those of u who are tired of the soulmate principal, get over it. Do u get tired of Christerfor Pike or R.L. Stein or Stephan King killing people off? Of cource not that is what their books are about. And the soulmate principal is a major part of her books so sit back and enjoy it or shut up and stop whinning!

Summary: Good Book
Review: I found this book to be pretty good, although Ms. Smith has written better books. I liked the idea of not having the wild power as the main character of the novel. But I found Iliana to be a flaky ditz. I understand that Ms. Smith was trying to build up her character as a strong female. But in contrast to her description of Iliana, she was a total turn off. All the glowing and radiation made her seem like more of a ditz, if not like she grew up around a nuclear power plant. But nonetheless Ms. Smith manages to deliver. And as for all the people who keep on saying how sappy and unrealistic her novels are - grow up. Most books are only fiction. They are only what you make out of them. And you guys are making too much out of the them. Use a little more imagination and less reality.

Summary: loved it
Review: OK. i have read every book L.J Smith ever wrote. and this one was very good, like all the rest. but i have only one comment for all you people giving her books a bad review. DON'T READ THEM!!!!! if you hate them soooo much don't wine and complain about them, just don't bother to read them!!
anyway, i can't wait until Strange Fate comes out.

Summary: Witchlight and Night World
Review: While not my favorite book in the universe, this is definately my favorite book in the Night World Series. I only just discovered L.J. Smith, and Witchlight was the first of her books that I bought. When I was done with it, I went back and bought every Night World book and read them in order (in one day, my eyes are SO tired) It's good that we are now getting into the heirarchy of the shapeshifters. I was getting sick of the stereotypical beautiful smart vamipires, dumb ugly shifters. However, I noticed that in these Wild Power books, there's no mention of the black flower symbols. It could be because those are Night world symbols, and the Circle Daybreakers don't consider themselves part of that anymore?
I recommend this book, it's definately different enough to be entertaining. Keller, the strong, smart, and short tempered heroine is a strong leader, and her soulmate Galen has to try to keep up!
As for the violet eyes, Iliana was the (I believe) second character to have them? Ash and Maya both had eyes that were changeable. It's interesting that Poppy is the only green eyed character...And Maggie Neely was an ordinary brown hair, brown eyes.
ANYWAY... I can't wait for Strange Fate. I think that the fourth Wild Power would have to be a shifter of some sort....they have a vampire/human, a vampire and a witch.

Summary: pah
Review: this wasn't bad. the fights were good, I liked Iliana well enough, but i think the soul mate principal is defintely getting a little old, esp. with the "oh no, i love him but he can't be mine" thing constantly going on. i don't care if that's what she wants to stress, i don't have to like it & i really really do not. but to each their own.

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: Keller, Iliana, and Galen were great new characters. I enjoyed reading about Keller and Galen falling in love. Iliana finally got the courage and used her Wild Power to save them all. When Iliana said she wanted Keller and Galen to be promised to each other I almost cried. And of course everything turned out all right at the end...END
