Summary: Love at first sight with this book!!!
Review: This great story and makes the reader feel confident. It also makes the reader blush redder, as I have said in my other reviews of the Alice books. Some may feel it is inapropriate, but I disagree without hesitation. It's not gross, it's realistic. A lot of girls are kissing their boyfriends on eyelids--not all of them, but a lot--and the descriptions of certain body parts at the YMCA are--again--realistic, that is what is going to happen if you go to those kinds of classes and are in a pretty serious relationship. If anything, this book and all the others in the series are PREPARING girls for what is going to take place as they mature. That's my opinon.

Summary: Simply Alice- simply buy it!
Review: This is simply a wonderful book! It's FULL of surprises and it's very witty and funny. I love these books, and this is one of the very best. There are many lessons in it like how to feel good about yourself and not try to just please everyone else. The summary is: Alice, Pamela, and Elizabeth are ready to have the best summer ever, between 8th and 9th grades, but as soon as it starts they run into problems. Elizabeth is obsessed about losing wetight and is becoming extremely thin. Pamela is having trouble getting along with her dad. Miss Summers has gone to England to decide if she will marry Jim Sorringer or Alice's dad- who will she choose? Alice is having enough problems with them, and her brother, and a million other things. The summer is different than they thought it would be, but it could still be the best one of all...

Summary: Best so far!
Review: This is so far the best book in the series. In my opinion they just keep getting better and better. Mrs. Reynolds has a knack for writing about things that happen everyday and twisting them realistically into the plot. In this book Alice and her friends learn about life, death, eating disorders, and friends moving away. I can't wait for Alice Alone!
