Summary: One of Card's best.
Review: When you read Orson Scott Card you expect Big Ideas presented with a humanity often lacking in science fiction. Pastwatch does not disappoint. The moral dilemna faced by his time viewers/travelers - whether to correct centuries of suffering at the cost of the present, and the self sacrifice involved in actually ending one's own existence for the good of another time line are simply fascinating and inspiring.

I will not soon forget this book.

Summary: This book is simply the best since The Lords of the rings
Review: ANTICIPATION AND REINTERPRETATION OF HISTORY IS NOT SO EASY BUT O.S.CARD MADE IT and transport us in this exploration of the past and his future. This novel will be a good start for a movie.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An amazing journey through time
Review: Pastwatch has got to be one of the best books ever written. Orson Scott Card just fully captivates you with his prologue. At that's just the prologue, the book itself goes into such depth. It talks about how one group of scientist attemps to restore the earth traveling back in time to the Columbus period. I will never look at Columbus the same ever again. It can get confusing at time with Mr.Card going back and forth from time to time, but you get the hang of it. These days, it is hard to really captivate a fifteen year old like myself, yet Mr.Card succesfully accomplished this with Pastwatch. If you're into sci-fi, even if you're not into it, you'll love this book.

Summary: Excellent!!!
Review: Orson Scott Card is a phenominal author, and he has proved it once again. Pastwatch is a great novel about the dangers of intervention. He weaves a wonderful story about Columbus and how the world might have been if Columbus had approached the New World with a different point of view. I would highly reccomend this novel to O. S. Card fans, sci-fi fans, and even those of you who don't really enjoy science-fiction. It has a wide range of appeal and I guarantee that you will not be dissappointed.

Summary: This book was one of the best I ever read!!!
Review: I have to say that this was won of the best books written by Orsan Scott Card. I would compare it in quality, readability, and plot to his ever popular Enders Game. I loved the ending and how he intertwined the story of Columbus with the Pastwatch storyline. All in all this was one of Cards best books.

Summary: Great fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This was one of the best books I ever read. It was fun, suspensefull, great characters, and an incredible idea. I only try to read fun books and this was very entertaining. After the first 1/4 of the book I just couldn't put it down. Those are the only kind of books to read. Thankyou Mr. Card!!!!!!!!

Summary: Get this book now!
Review: This story is Card's best work! I had checked this book out of the library, and after reading it, I bought my own copy so I could push it on other people. Card shows us a people (Tagiri & Co.) that sees what it takes to save humanity and the planet - and they get the job done! (No social commentary there, huh?!) It is a very powerful, thought provoking book of hellish futures vs. utopian futures; and the scales are centered on Christopher Columbus. If you want a book that makes you think and feel (and Card is so good at this!), don't miss this book.

Summary: Powerful, human fiction with a conscience - I wept
Review: I picked up this book on a lark...I liked th ecover. What I found inside was a rarity in the world of Sci-Fi. Often, Sci-fi is over-intellectualized (unlike it's cousin, Fantasy) and is somewhat dry because of it. Card creates a universe of multi-facted characters who are a balance of their intellect and their emotions (and not just the easy ones like love and hate - he mixes guilt, melancholy, ambition, spite, and righteousness in there). The result is a tale with so much gosh-darn humanity that I openly wept at the end. People, not science, are at the center of this boiok, and all is as it should be.

Summary: A very thought provoking story...
Review: I have always been fascinated in the history of the Americas, particular the Inkas. I thought that this story was wonderful. Some of the concepts that Card thought up were really deep.

Summary: CARD AT HIS BEST!
Review: This is one of my most favorite books. Orson Scott Card's trademark character development and moral dilemmas are center stage here, wrapped in a panoramic, epic plot. It's gripping, powerful, and leaves you thinking for days afterward.

Card is one of America's greatest living writers, and he deservers every bit of recognition. This is one of his finest books.
