Summary: An emotional read that kept me turning pages
Review: This is the first book by Ferris I have read. As an author of gay fiction I always feel its important to see what other author's write, especially YA fiction. This story is certainly moving and I read the book one afternoon in one sitting. The two-three main characters are well done, but the supporting cast is often left in the shadows and I often wonder why the author spends so much time with them (especially the protaganist's baby sister). But there is definite heart ache at discovering you're gay, and it will have an impact on the readers, especially the ending.
