He told her to find a disk called "Twin" after she found it she was to take the Corvette and met him at the ice cream place by Salmon River Road. When she told her dad that she didn't have a license he told "her it doesn't matter just grab the disk and meet me there." Right before she goes someone comes in the house yelling at someone. Alice hid in the garage underneath the peracious Corvette. When the guy left the house Alice got up from the ground and got into the car. Summary: Thriller...
Review: "Wanted!" was another great novel by Caroline B. Cooney, and a terrific thriller!

Alice can't believe it when she her dad calls her and tells her to drive his prized Corvette to the "place where they get milk shakes" and to bring his disks labled "TWIN". She doesn't even have her license, but she goes, anyway, confused. Then she hears that her father was murdered, and that her mother received a confession e-mail - from her!

Alice doesn't know what to do, and in a panic, she tries to hide her identity, dodging people searching for her. She gets deeper and deeper into trouble... Who killed her father, and why was she framed?

This was a great book, and I'd recommend it for ages 12 and up. I'd also definitely recommend some other novels of Cooney's, such as "The Face on the Milk Carton" and "Driver's Ed".

Summary: Great! I loved it!
Review: I loved this book! I've read many of Caroline B. Cooney's books, like The Face on the Milk Carton, Whatever Happened to Janie, The Voice on the Radio, What Child is This, and a couple others. This was one of the best! I could not put it down, and it's one of my favorite books now. Caroline B. Cooney has a great style of writing that makes her books different from all others. I love the mystery, the excitement, and much more that she puts into her books. On a scale of 1-10, i give this book and 11!

Summary: A Good Thriller
Review: Caroline Cooney has a gift for natural expression and her metaphors never fail to delight. Although I do not care for her supernatural stories, thrillers such as this are more her bailiwick. Alice is an appealling, sympathetic character who is unwittingly involved in some mystery, action and chase scenes. This may sound funny, but I loved the part about her driving the landlord's old Dodge Dart. I have a deep love for the classic Chrysler, having learned to drive on a Dodge Dart myself. (It was a canary yellow with a hard black vinyl top 4DSD - a Dodge Dart Custom). Adult readers will smile over the heads of some of the characters and will certainly appreciate the nod to the modern age -- the computer rooms in the university and the delightful contrast of the memory of a Dodge Dart.

Nice job.
