Rating: Summary: Wanted a book by Caroline B Conney Review: This is a tale about a girl and her father who has gotten into some trouble. He has something that someone else wants and now they are after the disk that will make them powerful. At first Janie is clueless to what is going on until one day the "stalkers" come to her house. She then figures out what they are after. She now is trying to hide from them to keep them from hurting her. In my opinion this is an excellent mystery-suspense novel. If you like mystery then this is the book for you. It is a "can't put down until you're done" book. It has all essential elements to be a wonderful thrilling book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Rating: Summary: A real page turner Review: Wanted was an excellent book! I love all Caroline B. Cooney books and this was no different. The book goes to show how trusting people can make things better, but can also make things worse. I kept rereading parts after I had read the book to see if there were any signs i missed about who the killer was. It was great!

Rating: Summary: Wanted by Carolyn Cooney Review: The book Wanted by Carolyn Cooney was a really good book. I hope when all you guys read it that you will like it too. In this book, there is a lot of good parts but i usually tell the good ones first. The first good part is at the beginning when her dad calls her but her dad was at work and he couldn't call her. Then this guy called trying to sound like her dad but he wasn't doing it very good job at that and then he tell Alice(his daughter) to meet him at the place where they always go to have a snackbut there was only one problem which was that she can't drive her dads corvette and she didn't have her driver's licence. Her dad tells her to get the car anyway. Well she gets in the car and goes there and waits a couple hours for her dad to get there so she decided to go back to her house and take a shower. When she gets out of the shower her dad was DEAD. That is all i am going to tell you so you need to read it yourself. The second best thing was when the murderer wrote a phony e-mail to her mother saying that Alice killed her father. But she didn't kill him. The anonymous person did it. Now every body thinks that it was her.
Rating: Summary: Wanted Review: The book Wanted by Caroline Cooney is a totally awesome book. Alice who is the main character in the book is practically blamed for the death of her father. Closer to the end of the book Alice gained most of my interest because she became so self confident. She kept her self going everyday even though she knew her father was dead. In the end you will find out that Alice is captable of holding her own. I recommened this book to children around the age of 12 and/or older, and to people who love to read and solve mysteries.
Rating: Summary: Best Book Ever!!!! Review: Alice Robie has been accused of murdering her father! When her dad calls and tells her in a panicky voice to drive his Corvette (the one he doesn't let ANYONE touch) and meet him at their favorite ice-cream place, she can't believe it! She doesn't even have her license. Alice starts to argue but he hangs up too soon. She drives to the ice-cream shop and waits for several hours, but he never shows up. Then an announcement comes on the radio. "39-year-old Marc Robie was found murdered in his house...Police are looking for his teenage daughter, Alice Robie, for questioning.... Police were called by the murder victim's ex-wife, who received an email from their daughter Alice, confessing that she had killed her father..." Will Alice be found guilty, or will they find the real murderer before he finds Alice? I liked Wanted because it was very exciting and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries because it is so good and you can never predict what will happen next.
Rating: Summary: It was okay! Review: It goes to much into detail. I did not like this book,if the author had taken off some detail, I would probably liked it more. But I still liked the story.
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: This book was great. I am a huge Caroline B. Cooney fan, and while this was not not her best work, it was still excellent. The plot of the story is that 15 year old Alice is alone in her dad's condo, painting her new fake nails, when she recieves a frantic call from her father who instrucs her to get two copies of a disk from the condo and meet her him at their favorite milkshake place. In her father's prize corvette. Nevermind that Alice doesn't have a license. Well, being a typical teenager, ALice changes clothes and shoes, brushes her hair, gathers up her nailpolish, and is in the garage when someone enters the house. Alice hears a large bang, and slides unfer the corvette to hide. After some time they leave, and aLice runs, or rather, drives away to the milkshake place, scared and confused. She waits, but her father never shows up. She calls her mother's house and her mother tells Alice that she knows, and she still loves her, even if she did kill her father. This book is one suspensful moment after another, and I couldn't put it down. It is really wonderful in showing one girl's battle between right and wrong. All along i was thinking, "oh, this guy did it," when in the end, it took a voilent and unsuspected turn. It's really good, as all of Mrs. Cooney's books. I don't know how adults would like it, but I'm 13, and I thought it was astounding. A little below my reading level perhaps, but a great book all the same.
