Rating: Summary: Easy to relate to Sarabeth Review: As a young teen, I loved Silver, and must've reread it a dozen times! Sarabeth is a wonderfully realistic character, and it's easy to imagine the awkwardness she feels at bridging the gap between life in a trailer with her mom, and the classmates who've known nothing but the rich life. But, as Sarabeth soon discovers, there are problems in everyone's lives, and money can't make them go away...in fact, sometimes it even makes things worse.
Rating: Summary: One of the Best! Review: I am 16 and I really love this book. I have read hundreds of books ramging from Gone with the Wind to the Patricia Cornwell Series and this one really tells it from a teenager's point of view. You can't go wrong when it comes to reading this book
Rating: Summary: Amazing Review: I am 20 years old, and still call this adolescent paperback one of my favorite books in the world. The first time I read the trials of Sara Beth Silver, I clearly remember tears streaming down my face. From then on, every book I have ever read has been compared to Silver. Norma Fox Mazer is incredible for capturing raw emotions in all of her books and making the characters relatable. After reading Silver, I came away learning a life lesson I shall never forget. Money cannot buy one happiness, friends or love. I know now, that I would rather lack material things and money but be rich in love and friendship. I highly recommend this book for people of all ages.
Rating: Summary: A great adolescent reader! Review: I enjoyed reading this because Sarabeth Silver goes through so many emotional journeys that most kids her age go through, and like those other kids, she thinks she's the only one with problems. This book shows kids that they're not alone in the world and people are not always how you perceive them. I think most people envied someone with a "perfect life" while they were growing up, only to find that when they looked a little closer, that person didn't have such a perfect life after all. Silver is a typical girl who dreams about that first kiss, dances with a boy for the first time, and embellishes her story at a slumber party. A stage in life no girl should miss!
Rating: Summary: A really great book. Review: I learned that even though you may be rich, there may be something horrible in your life. It doesn't matter if you only have one parent or two. All that matters is that your gaudians love you
Rating: Summary: a great book for n-e-one Review: I loved this book because of the feelings "Silver" had made me look at all the things that were not so in focus but touchable to me. I loved how many times she relized money isn't everything but it sure helps. This book helped me brige the gap between elementry and Jr. High, how I felt about not seeing my friends and having to make new ones. The mother reminded me alot of my own .Always wanting the best for me and siblings . After I read this book I thanked her and told her I loved her
Rating: Summary: A Great Book Review: I loved this book it is a great story of a young girl just trying to fit into the social class that she isn't part of. She finds out that it isn't an easy life just because you have money. It was a great book to read.
Rating: Summary: Huh? Review: I read this book, ( ). But it's a pretty good book. I justpicked it up one day and started reading, and once I did, I couldn'tput it down. I woud recommend it to anyone over 12. END
Rating: Summary: one of my all-time favorites Review: I truly loved this book. I have read it at least a dozen times, so often, in fact, that I had to tape the cover back on after it fell off from so much use. The characters are as real to life as they come. This story, is realistic, touching, sensitive, funny, and beautiful. Anyone who likes good books MUST READ THIS!

This is a very good book written with high styla. Read this book and all her others. The charecters are well developed and realistic. you'll love it.
