Summary: Quick lite read but book does not follow TV show
Review: Anybody who's watched the show and wants to find out more about Felicity & Ben's road trip will disappointed. In this book, she goes to Berlin with Noel!

Summary: Who actually wrote this book?
Review: As an adult fan of the TV show, and a big fan of fiction for young people, all I can say is . . . ouch. How hard can it be to give a character in a book the same voice as the character on television? Evidently, hard indeed.

Summary: Contradicts storyline
Review: Everyone knows by now that Felicity chose Ben in the season premier, yet, this book has her picking Noel and describes their summer (which never happened on the show). Read it as fan fiction, nothing else.

Summary: Nowhere near as good as the TV show
Review: I am a big fan of Felicity on TV, but this book doesn't comeclose to how good the TV show is. The biggest problem is thatFelicity in the book doesn't sound like Felicity on the show. The dialogue is wrong. Whoever wrote this book needs to study the TV show more.

Summary: Worst part of show is the tapes, so....?
Review: I can't understand why the tapes would be such a big emphasis of the Felcity books. Anyway, this book does not compare to other books from TV shows, like the recent Dawson's Creek books which are great or even the Sabrina books I used to read. It was okay but not very good.

Summary: Great Piece of FAn Fiction
Review: I know that most people don't really care for this book, but I love it. I read this book in the course of one day (pretty good for me), and i enjoyed every moment of it. The story contradicts the series storyline, but it is still a good look into the mind of Felicity Porter. The other thing i like about this book is that the author really knew how to embody Felicity, and it seemed like i was reading the script to a couple of episodes, not a book. This is a must for any fan (espcailly thoughs around 16, 17 years of age).

Summary: Disappointment
Review: I'm definitely disappointed in the book. First, the whole Ben/Noel choice doesn't match what happened on the show. In addition, there are other little inconsistencies with the season premiere. The tapes don't sound like Felicity, and there is also a problem with some of the other cast members - especially Elena's attitude about being roommates with Noel (the premiere handled it much more Elena-like). Also, this book is definitely for a mature audience and not for a young adult teenager.

Summary: Only summer
Review: Seems the writer didn't watch the premier of Felicity and guessed wrong on who she chose. Well, aside from that, the whole book is a piece of junk. Felicity doesn't sound like the Felicity on TV like many other reviewers wrote. Worse, is that the "Felicity" keeps telling "Sally" about her past, like that she wants the readers to recap what had happened in previous episode. Almost every page, "Felicity" tells "Sally", 'Yes, I know I told you, but remember last year when...' and bores us with what had happened. It sure doesn't sound natural and Felicity sends like 15 pages of tape her problems and Sally sends a half a page reply comforting Felicity without even talking about what's going on in her life. The good stuff is probably how "Felicity" acts, for example, the coffee shop with Ben. Also, the pointless goodies like how "she" tells us pointless things like 'german gum tastes like body odor and cliantro' and 'her mom's recipe for cookies'. The few jokes are hilarious as well. Overall, 'Summer' doesn't conclude anything with Noel, Julie, Elena, Ben, and Felicity in the end which is why it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. My guess is the writer was so embarassed that she added 'by Felicity Porter' on the cover. Another thing, "Felicity" turned the radio to 'Red Wine' by U2, isn't it "Red Red Wine" by UB40? The real author needs to get her facts.
