Rating: Summary: Beautiful Story Review: Cherie Bennett has written a beautiful story about a girl who, normally would be a freak-of-the-week, is portrayed as just another teenager who has problems. But the interaction between Lana, Clark, and the whole "Scooby Doo Gang" Chloe and Pete, even Whitney with the girl gives this story a soft touch. The story of a girl who has wings, but is afraid of flying ties into Clark's fear of flying. Cherie Bennett wrote a satisfying Smallville book, and books this length, though some consider "short" are not a distractor.
Rating: Summary: One of My Favorite Smallville Books Review: When Clark meets 15-year-old Tia Haines, a shy girl, who has an extremely strict father, he realizes that he could use help, and that he's the person to give it to her. But when Clark finds out that what he thinks Tia's hiding, is something entirely different, thanks to his x-ray vision, he realizes that Tia's secret is as big as his own. Meanwhile, if that weren't enough for Clark to handle, a string of robberies begin to plague Smallville, and the only evidence at each scene of the crime is a green feather. Now Clark is faced with another mystery to solve. As someone who has read the previous books in the SMALLVILLE series, I have to say that this is my favorite one so far. Tia is a fantastic new character, whom I wish would have stayed around a little longer. Clark really shows how caring he is about other people in this novel, and this new side of him is a great one. A must-have book for all fans of the SMALLVILLE TV show or book series. Erika Sorocco
Rating: Summary: could be better Review: when clark meets a shy young lady at a carnival, he starts to suspect that she may be abused by her father. when he uses his xray vision to confirm this, he finds that she is hiding a much bigger secret. on top of this, people are starting to get robbed. could the 2 be connected? or is it just another item for the wall of the weird? this book starts out with a lot of promise but it goes downhill really fast. from the samllville books i have read fans are better off just watching the tv show.
