Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An engaging book; a good summer read.
Review: I found this book to be in the tradition of Anne Rivers Siddons novels: an amusing but also somewhat tragic story with a female heroine. In this case, there are two female leads, but the majority of the story is told from Vix's point of view while Caitlin remains enigmatic. Overall, this was an enjoyable, if somewhat predictable, read.

Summary: An amazing journey into women and life-long friendship.
Review: Blume captures the unique situations and thoughts which are the backbone of life-long friendship. I couldn't put it down, and when I finished it, I wanted to start all over again. The ending is as unpredictable as the tale, and I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

Summary: Oh my god...read this book!!!
Review: This has to be one of the greatest books that I have read in a long while. Blume has simply outdone herself this time. " Wifey" was great. But this book is just so realistic. You can actually put yourself into the characters places. I finished the book a week ago and I still think about it. READ IT. You will thank yourself.

Summary: This book is great and has a completely "real-life" feeling.
Review: When you first start this book you might not know what you're getting into, but by the end you're ready to read it over and over again. You want to search for books with the same story. You don't want to read anything but this plot. It's a touching story of how two friends can grow together and apart and live their lives as complete opposites but still have their friendship. It was a very good book and I would recommend it to teenagers everywhere. Teens should also check out "Forever..." by Judy Blume. Judy seems to be a very talented young adult writer and I can't wait until her next book is published !

Summary: A Definite Must for Reading at The Beach
Review: I grew up reading all of Judy Blume's books, all the way up to Wifey. I was thrilled to see she had written another Adult novel. This was an easy and light read. The characters were easy to relate to and care about. I couldn't put the book down until I finished the last page and then I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS THAT I HAVE EVER READ.
Review: SUMMER SISTERS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS THAT I HAVE EVER READ. IT WAS SO GOOD THAT I FINSHED IT IN 2 DAYS. IF YOU HAVE NOT READ IT, DO SO, AND IF YOU HAVE, READ IT AGAIN.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Inappropriate for Young Adults.
Review: Someone somewhere has decided that because "Summer Sisters" follows the life of two women from the time they are twelve until they are thirty that this book crosses over into the Young Adult category. They couldn't be more wrong! The book contains vulgar language, graphic sex, and generally is not for the pre-college crowd. The story itself has been told too many times before by Danielle Steel, Judith Krantz, Sydney Sheldon, et al. If you fell compelled to read the top ten bestsellers, then go ahead and read the book. Otherwise, give it a 'Pass.'

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, easy-reading
Review: When I saw the author's name on it in the bookstore, i had to have it. She was my favorite author as a young girl. This adult novel is good, an easy-reader, and I hope to read more from Judy Blume in the near future.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Couldn't Put It Down!!!
Review: I read this book in less than 2 days. I loved it as much as I have loved all the other Blume books I read growing up. It's nice to know that she's writing books for those of us who grew up reading her books and are now adults. The book made me want to be 15 years old again having the time of my life with my best friend

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I thought this was truly a wonderful and engrosing book
Review: Judy Blume was my favroite author as a young reader and now with thebook Summer Sisters I know why. Blume captures the magic of summer on the Vinyard and the problems that many young people face as they grow up and often away from their childhood friends.
