Review: Judy Blume has once again proven that she still has the touch to move me. Even as I have grown up, her books have always stayed on my shelf, so I can indulge in the excitingly realistic worlds that she has created with all of her books. Summer Sisters brought the wonderful world of Judy back. This is a must read book.

Review: Judy Blume writes a book that's racy and fun. I couldn't put Summer Sisters down. Ditto with my other favorite summer book Lip Service by MJ Rose.These two women made my vacation fly!

Summary: Beautiful Coming of Age Story
Review: Wow! Summer Sisters is incredible. I have been a fan of Judy Blume since I was a child. How wonderful it was to see a book written for adult readers. I loved it. Vix and Caitlin are such well written intriguing characters. I hope that Judy Blume follows up with another book soon. I had trouble putting it down and read it within three days. The ending brought tears to my eyes. Don't we all remember our summer sisters!!! A must have for any Judy Blume fan.

Review: I just finished Summer Sisters. I laughed and I cryed. I live and Fla and when Vix mother moved to Key West I was tempted to get in my car and go talk to her about abandoning the family, then I remembered this was just a story. I could really feel the emotions of the characters and imagine the vineyard has many ghost with many stories to tell. I would love to see a sequal to Summer Sisters. Thanks again for the fabulous story.

Review: This is a great book that I almost missed reading because of the bad reviews Amazon customers had given it. If you like a good story you will like this book. I believe one reason people gave this book a bad review is that it doesn't end the way they want it to. Once you read the book you will know what I mean. Read the book it is worth the time. I took me one day to enjoy it and I was left with a void because I could not be with the characters and there lives anymore. If you liked the movie Beaches, you will love this book.I liked Judy Blume when I was young and I am glad I found her again.

Summary: Definitely a worthwhile read
Review: It was not exactly what I expected, but I couldn't put it down. It was racy and fun. Sometimes putting 2 and 2 together was more challenging than others, but that kept it from being boring. Some of the antics of the teens were quite easy to relate to. The others were fun to imagine.

Summary: Made me wish I had a "Summer Sister"
Review: It took me four days to read this masterpiece. I have been a fan of Judy Blume since her "Freckle Juice" and "Superfudge" days. Having grown from a child to a woman with the help of her books on my night stand I must say that this book was an abolute joy and a thrill to read. The characters were multi-dimensional and you could really feel for them. Having not gone on a summer vacation this year reading this book certainly sent me on one all over the world. From Marhta's Vineyard, to NYC, and Europe the characters and the language of the book kept my interest. I look forward to Judy Blume's next adult novel. Everyone who has had a best friend that they would do anything for should read this book. I am definately giving it to my best friend!

Review: I LIKED THE BOOK OVERALL. HOWEVER, I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THE WAY THE STORY ENDED. I AM NOT SURE WHAT I WAS EXPECTING, BUT I AM SURE IT WAS NOT DEATH. I READ THIS BOOK IN 4 DAYS. ONCE I PICKED IT UP I COULD NOT SET IT DOWN. I AM 24 SO THE GIRLS IN THE STORY ARE NOT THAT YOUNGER THAN ME AND AT TIMES I FOUND MYSELF RELATTING TO THE BOTH VIX AND CATLIN. GOTTA READ IT.

Review: I loved Judy Blume books as a child--obviously I've grown up. This served it's purpose--it entertained me on a train ride from Philly to New York. But it was pretty simplistic and unrealistic. I wouldn't recommend reading it unless you are really into reading a book that reads like a soap opera.
